Manchego Reserve (Extra Aged) - Pound Cut (1 pound)

The extra aged manchego cheese is THE cheese to buy. The extra aged manghego is probably one of the finest tasting anything that I have EVER put in my mouth. Put a small piece of this in your mouth, close your eyes, begin to chew/suck on what you have in your mouth, and you will never again buy a different cheese. I just cannot describe with any accuracy or any degree of verisimilitude, how good this cheese is. A bit harder than the younger manchego cheese, but it IS, by FAR, a better tasting cheese. I buy a pound of this cheese EVERY month, and it only lasts me about a week. I just CANNOT stay away from it as long as I have it. If you have never tried any extra-aged manchego cheese, do yourself one of the best favors that you have ever done for yourself, and get some of this. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

Great cheese. Well packaged. The flavor and texture is outstanding.

Now that the weather is warming up again in Florida, I probably won't be ordering from this Seller for quite a while. Cheese arrived finally after many days. It was packed well but the ice was very thawed. It has good flavor, but I don't know how safe it will be at higher temps ahead.

The product I received in a package labeled PERISHABLE, Manchego cheese aged 12 months, brand Maese Miguel, was shipped UPS ground and was warm on arrival. However, the product was discoloured (abnormal pink color on its surface) and was covered with a thick layer of a gelatinous substance which indicated that this product was bad before it was shipped. Unacceptable !

Unlike other so-called Manchego cheese I've purchased on Amazon before, this is truly authentic Manchego cheese of Spain and it is delicious!

It's what it claims to be, aged manchego. The package contained two 8.8 oz slices to make well over the 1 lb. ordered. Shipping was quick- sent on Monday from FL and arrived Wed. in TX. Ice packs were warm, but the cheese was fine. Caveat.. what I received was a different brand from the photograph, and has a different flavor profile than the Don Juan cheese shown. Still very good.
