Dell E-Port Plus Advanced Port Replicator with USB 3.0 for E Series Latitudes, 130W AC

I was actually quite surprised at what I received. You know how you buy something used and the finish may have scratches or just have a beaten up look? One of the replicators looked brand new and the other was very close to looking new. They were well packaged and arrived on time. Since these are used products, I had to give them a test. I hooked up some drives to the USB ports, and they worked. I then hooked up three monitors to the replicator using both DVI ports and the VGA port. With the computer monitor, that is 4 monitors!! IT WORKED!! If you have never hooked up 4 monitors to computer and had them working together, it is the coolest thing. I only did this with one of the replicators though. I don’t foresee having a problem with the other but will update if need be. It wasn’t readily obvious to me by the ad title, but the replicator DOES NOT come with a power supply. I looked at the ad again to see if I missed something and the ad says it doesn’t come with a power supply. It could have been updated since I put the order in, but I can’t confirm. There is a lot going on with this replicator and I would not use anything less than the recommended 130W power supply.

I ordered this for my Dell E6430ATG. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The unit I received was brand new with Dell factory seals still intact. Set up took all of less than 5 minutes to remove all cables from the laptop, plugged them all into the dock as well as a Dell 19 inch monitor. It also came complete with the large 130w power supply. I can now easily take the laptop with me with the simple click of the eject button (which has a blue light) that is easy to see. Now I really wish I would have got one of these docks years ago.

The Dell E-port docking stations are basically for dinosaur computers. I ordered this item and used it for nearly 6 months with fair reliability. One day after plugging in my laptop the screen replicators stopped functioning. I tried to reset the device, swapped cables to ensure that there was no bad cables, installed new cables, etc. to no avail. Ended up having to purchase a second port replicator and it worked flawlessly upon connection. If you have the opportunity, rather than purchasing new, save some money and get a refurbished unit if they're not going to be reliable long-term.

So glad I found this as I really did not want to spend upwards of $100 + as some of the other sellers were offering. This works and looks like it was brand new. I needed to get an additional one for my home office so I wouldn't have to bring it back and forth from my home office to my work office. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs.

For Dell E-Series laptops only (which mine is.) This docking station works great for my remote work. It's just like the one I have at my office. Seamless change from office to remote and for a great price, too!

Docking station for my laptop. I broke 2 USB ports on my laptop, but I just clip my laptop into the port and I get 4 USB ports. Happy I didn’t have to replace my laptop.

I received a good accessories, now I need DP connectors because I have only HDMI Display connection.

Dell says it is 100% compatible. It depends on the integrated video chip. Works extremely well, but sometimes the video switches display and I get signal lines on my TV. It doesn't damage the TV.
