You can't buy a better water pump
You can't buy a better water pump. Yes you can buy a cheaper pump but it won't be as good. This pump is very quiet. I use it to do water changes on my 56 gal. aquarium. It pumps out 34 or so gallons in no time. Then I pump 34 or so gallons back into that tank from a reserve tank about thirty feet away. No more buckets.

Ok pump, wish it has a manual.
Bought this pump as the recommendation of the AV unit i was installing. man i hate this pump, take hours, Literally hours to prime (normally just use my mouth to prime. why did i buy this pump???

All of my propeller wings sheared off within first year of use on my saltwater aquarium. Can't find any traces of rock or debris that could cause that. An a replacement is 100 for a 198 dollar pump.. no answers or return calls from manufacturer.

Pan world pumps
Pan world pumps are rated #1 and competivtly with Iwaiki pumps, much less expensive. Great water pump!
