Serving Tray Wood Vintage White Shabby Chic

Very happy with this product, it is exactly what I was after and could not find in shops. Lightweight and a nice finish, good price too. I received this on prime and it arrived on time.

This review is for the vintage wooden tray in grey. The product arrived well packaged and on time. The tray is fairly small approx 35cm. The tray has two handles. Over time I have very much started liking the trying and have been using it regularly. The try is finished I a shubby chic white finish and look pretty cool.

Great sturdy tray. We began using it for cups of tea but has now become a fruit tray. Which makes it look more satisfying

An average product that’s put together poorly It’s looks quite nice, however, the corners are not formed accurately and a couple of nails have come through the side of the tray I can’t comment on the price as it wasn’t in the listing This is a product that I like, however, not such much with poor workmanship

Looking for a medium size tray to show off my new tea pot set. This does the job nicely. Next day delivery I’m very pleased and a good price .

Blimey another bandwagon someone has jumped on! Just because shabby chic is a trend, doesn't give you carte blanche to leave something so rough, so unfinished and badly put together it gave me a splinter immediately. The exposed wood isn't varnished or waxed, it's just plain bare deal, so if it gets wet it will swell and warp, rendering the tray useless. The tongue and groove looks nice but the corners of the tray are badly glued together and I needed to reinforce them. Frankly, I just won't use this at all until I've finished it off - a lick of paint to improve the dull white, maybe a bit of transfer to brighten it up a bit, then a coat of clear wax or matte varnish to ensure it's hardwearing and waterproof. So, in my book, this is no better than a tray picked up at a charity shop to upcycle. As this is currently unavailable, I have no idea of the price - I would sincerely hope no more than a tenner at the utmost and I still wouldn't consider that good value.
