Great product and delivery

"Dead or alive, you're coming with me" Most memorable line. The great resolution Doesn't hurt either. The original Robo had some shiny bling to it but so far to this point, Robo Cop 2 has awesome resolution. It's in HD coupled with my upscaling bluray player made it awesome. For the price great buy.

Im a huge RoboCop fan since I was a kid. The first 2 movies are great, im okay with the 3rd but it wasnt super awesome. This release on BluRay is well done with extra features. The quality is really good, no graininess from upscaling and no distortion to the audio. Definitely worth it.

I read a lot of reviews before i bought this set. I had already owned 1 & 2 on bluray but desperately wanted 3 and i wasnt about to pay 50$. So i checked reviews upon reviews to see if it was worth it. I am very please. If you own #1, the quality is exactly the same no improvements. For all the movies the picture quality is great, the audio is great (DTS 5.1) Now with #1 there is some noise to the picture at times, but honestly what can you expect from an older or 80s movie. I know there has been fantastic jobs done to older films like Back to the Future, Batman, Indiana Jones, Star Trek are some big examples. Maybe a better job could have been done with those "noisey" scenes but really it still looks good and is still fun to watch. If you dont own them, get them, if you own on DVD im sure the upgrade will still be an improvement but i cant say with 100% as i never owned the dvds.

Maybe I'm missing something but I found this Robocop Blu-ray collection looks and sounds very good compared to other similar movie transfers from the 80s. It's definitely 1080p and not some "upscaled DVD" transfer. I have the Alien Anthology [Blu-ray ], Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Skynet Edition) [Blu-ray ] as well as Blade Runner (Five-Disc Complete Collector's Edition) [Blu-ray ] and this Robocop set compares favorably to those transfers. Yes the first movie does have SOME grain...DUH...given that it was originally filmed on...gasp...FILM and not some digital HD rig! In fact the grain isn't even that big of a deal considering that some modern films have MORE ARTIFICIAL grain added than this movie. As for the sound the main track is encoded via lossless DTS-HD MA! For the price I paid..less than $6 per disc and free shipping I have no reason to even think about complaining. I'm so glad I didn't fall for the uninformed negative reviews and just went ahead and ordered this set. Given that I also own the Robocop DVD set...there's just NO WAY you could upscale those low resolution transfers and end up with the great quality on this Blu-ray set. To do a proper review you need to have seen or own the DVD set AND you need to own a native 1080p TV and have it receive 1080p output from a Blu-ray player. A computer with a Blu-ray drive connected to a native 1080p display is acceptable too. Oh and one final note, I think the people who said the video quality looks exactly like the DVD are either blind or they erroneously watched the first couple of minutes on the first film and thought that was the actual quality of the entire film...LOL! For those who do not know the first couple of minutes is supposed to look blurry and low quality due to the fact it's supposed to be footage of a "TV broadcast"...

Exceptional films! The first one is a true classic with a brilliant antagonist!

At the time of writing this box set is less than 8 quid. That is terrific value for what what you get. Robocop - on paper this should be absurd. Even the design of the Robocop himself screams plastic rather than metal. It's all a bit daft. When you finally watch it though..... Satirical, touching, violent and full of iconic moments and oh so quotable dialogue this is a film worthy of many repeat viewings. It features, to my mind one fo the most gruesome but satisfying screen deaths ever, has a witty and clever script and a performance from Peter Weller in the title role that really transcends the 'man in mask' limitations. A porper nailed-on 80's classic worth many repeat viewings. The special features you get with this set are impressive and comprehensive as well. You have 20 seconds to comply!!!!! Robocop 2 - I have some love for this film. Its a decent sequel, not in the same league as its older sibling but few sequels are. What it does have is some very impressive action sequences, a fairly solid script (by Kevin Miller) and some dashes of bakcer than black humour. I enjoyed it way back when I was too young to legally see it and enjoy it know as a increasingly graying grown up! Robocop 3 - Utter bobbins. I choose to think of its inclusion in this set as being an special feature rather than what I actually paid for. When I think of it like that, its presence here doesn't bother me at all. It's not a good film, the absence of Peter Weller, the limited script and lack of care is all too apparent but that's fine, I'll just not watch it again. Watch once, appreciate its (painfully) few moments of merit and then forget it. You'll watch the first one often and the sequel every now and again. At the current price that makes for a fairly good deal. (Still, it'd be nice if it was a dollar - then I'd totally buy it!)

Aunque la segunda y tercera parte son un poco rollo, la verdad es que este pack merece la pena. Tiene un precio 4 veces inferior que en España. En la caja sólo pone que vienen en Inglés, pero confirmo que vienen en castellano. Buena compra.
