Great to add routing protocols (ip services) and QoS to a small or large network. POE works great and up to 30 watts, total 240. Fanlless quiet and runs quite cool, even with POE. Love RTU license feature. Have some ports connected to NAS that are over 150 Terabits sent with no errors. Tonnes of configuration options, ISIS, BGP, RIP1/2, IGMP 3, RMON, PIM, etc. So far one of the best switches I have ever owned. 5 stars is a bit of an understatement on this one.

They make this model in 8 port and 12 port and neither have fans. Just a heat sink. Very fast layer 3 switch. Being Cisco everything works. No issues yet. Updated it once. Highly recommend.
