The Bible Answer Book

Mr. Hanegraaff is at the head of that group of exegetes whose lifetime of study, consideration, and enlightenment has given him the clear understanding and spiritual wisdom to explain to the world the meaning and application of biblical messages and applications. He lives his faith, I've learned, and I consider it a good day when I hear his explanations to those who call his radio program. These two small books contain Hank's answers to questions received from listeners seeking truth about biblical issues, and questions that inevitably emerge in the mind of most who search for true interpretation and accurate meaning in all the Bible. Excellent commentaries are available, and they delve deeply into biblical topcs, but I can't often take the time to conduct such research. The author also explains much more concerning contemporary interpretations he is convinced misguide the unwary. Like most others, I need clear answers right now, especially regarding many of those far out assertions common today. Hanegraaff''s answers do not shirk those sometimes uncomfortable differences of some biblical claimants to a position that he shows to be false in light of the entire Scripture. In other words, a true exegete of the light of Scripture shows how the Bible corroborates its truth. Anyone must be most knowledgeable and blessed, I believe, to achieve such clarity of exposition and witness. I look forward to a third such volume. It would be helpful if the book were a little larger, thus increasing the print size, but that's no big problem.

I have one, and bought this one as a gift for someone who is questioning Christianity.

If you listen to Hank regularly, most of the questions and answers in here would be familiar. With these set of biblically-based, short and sweet answers, it keeps you answering questions for the Christian faith. If you don't listen to Hank or just discovering Christianity, the book is so simple that practically anyone can grasp the message and immediately come to true knowledge of God, His attributes and promises to us - believers in the one true faith - Christianity. All-in-all, this book and its brother -BAB vol.2, will solidify your biblical knowledge, prepare you to identify truth-benders' urban legends and non-biblical doctrines and then prepares you to be able to give answers to all those who asks, why we believe what we believe...with confidence, gentleness and respect! When you know the truth, you are then set free! A must for all that love the truth of God.

Well known for his radio show, Hank Hanegraaff (the bible answer man) puts together an easily referenced compilation of frequently asked questions from the many years on radio and from venues around the world. He recommends further resources to compliment this handbook. Each question and answer is fortified with specific scripture passages. Well written, with straight forward answers. I bought this when my son was asking me questions that my after-work research (Google) had not revealed. This book has addressed many of his questions and, more importantly, taught him how to think about other religions, science, etc. I've read many of the answers as well and they seem well in line with how I believe my faith applies to the world. I really like this book and its simple layout of each chapter is one question with one answer. Highly recommended.

The Bible Answer book is a great resource to help answer questions that you or someone you know may have. While no person can answer all biblical questions, Hank Hanegraaf does an excellent job of touching on common questions asked by many believers, and non-believers alike. All in all, this is a good book and I highly recommend it.

I listen to Hank's radio show daily and enjoy his insight to biblical theology. This is a great book to quickly look up answers to questions that many Christians are asked and may not be able to articulate the answer fully themselves. I plan to buy the second volume also.

This book is really only good for beginners. Anyone with any bible knowledge at all will not find this book useful. In fact, I found it downright offensive with its simplicity at times. So if you've ever read the bible, skip this book and try something else. If you're new and want "bible for dummies" with NO background information or citations, then this is for you.

easy to read, good basic info. its good because you dont have to read it start to finish in order.

After reading Hank Hanegraaff's book "Counterfeit Revival, I do not believe that this man is a true born again, spirit-filled Christian. The Bible tells us to beware of those that are false. I believe that this man is a theologian only. God does not speak to him. He has accused many in his book of being false prophets. Some that that that he has accused of being false prophets, I believe that he is correct. But I believe that he has also accused of being false prophets are actually true men or women of God. He is the President and Chairmen of The Christian Research Institute International and the founder of Memory Dynamics. What has that got to do with true Christianity? The Bible is the Written Word and the Living Word of God. It is the Logos and the Rhema Word of God. God is a Spirit. We cannot reach God in the natural. That is why God says in his Word that He is looking for those that will Worship him in spirit and in truth. We have to be born again to be Christians. Unless you are born again, you will not see the kingdom of God. (John 3 verses 1 to 6.) If one is not truly born again, then you are merely a religious person. There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8 verse 1). This means that there is condemnation to those that are walking in the flesh.
