Ford Mustang

No son loved the lights in his Lego mustang! It did take him some time to set it all up. Originally some of the lights didn’t work. The customer service helped us figure out what wires weren’t working and sent us new ones and followed up to make sure we received the package. Great product and customer service!

I installed the light kit while building the Mustang. I took my time and everything fit together nicely and worked well….just a little difficult routing the wires to hide them properly, but the end result was worth it! Only minor criticism is that it should have included 2 more led's for the front fog lights in the grill.

Not too difficult to install. Maybe a little bit more length on a couple of wires but doesn’t hurt functionality. Dressed it up really nicely.

Amazon wanted me review the Thickness, Warmth, and Easy to assemble...??? Well here it goes: the thickness of the wires and lights are actually very thin. The lights fit between two snapped together lego bricks so you know it has to be pretty thin to do that! The warmth of the lights...well they’re LEDsbso they are quite bright. Both the white and red lightning is quite bright and cool. The only light that is warm is the interior cabin light. The kit is actually relatively easy to assemble and the step-by-step are easy to follow! Overall if you are buying this to add to your Lego Mustang set, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Pretty neat set up. You can leave off the the blower lights and plug and play so to speak when you change from classic to hot rod. I also may change some things around and take the reverse lights and move them to the fog light on the grill. One thing I would change is to have a option to get all the low level lights like the license plate light on the whole thing. The normal lights are really bright.

This is my first LED upgrade for any Lego set I own and I have to say I may be buying more of them for my sets. This was an amazing addition to my Lego Creator Expert Series Mustang. I was quite proud of the model to begin with and I am even more impressed with its presentation now when fully lit. Small thought to pass along, I was a little disheartened when I had light bleed through on the roof panel with the white bricks but a stroke of though happened and I added a single square of tinfoil and attached with double-sided scotch tape an boom problem solved.

Great light kit. It really brought the car together. Putting the light kit on is a little tricky as the wire connections are quite small. But worth the work.

Purchased this for a friend they said it was pretty straight forward to put together from the instructions but it is definitely something to have patience for as the wiring is thin and some of the places are hard to access so you will most likely need tweezers,overall in the end it does looks pretty awesome and adds further detail to this beautiful lego set.

Great product and brings the Mustang Lego kit to the next level. Looks so cool!

I used this on the Lego 1967 Mustang. Instructions were easy enough to follow. I made a couple of changes. The kit has the front park lights lit up but on a Mustang they would not be on with the headlights on so I ran the wires to the foglights in the grille instead. As for the battery pack, instead of placing it behind the front seats I layed it in the trunk with the switch up so in order to turn it on you simply open the trunk to access it.

Easy to install. Great addition for lego.
