Works Awesome
I used to have a hot water pot I would take with me on my business trips, but it was too big. I found this one, and WOW, I was very pleased. It's nice and compact, fairly light weight, and boils a full pot of water in less than 4 minutes. Being collapsible, and it comes with a cup as well as a carry case. Perfect for my trips.

Ideal for work travel
I love this! If you like hot tea! So easy to use! If you travel, you don’t have to worry about getting water from a hotel coffee pot!

Wonderful, compact, collapsible kettle
Who knows what has been in those little, next-to-useless coffee makers provided in hotel rooms, or how well they have been cleaned? With this collapsible kettle you can heat your water in something over which you have control! It takes up relatively little space and has its own zippered bag. I have used this kettle several times now while traveling overseas and was able to make my own coffee my own style in my hotel room, regardless of what kind of electricity they had. I took this kettle, my own coffee, #2filters, and a silicone collapsible pour over coffee maker, and made my own coffee. This was important to me, because different countries serve different kinds and strengths of coffee. In some places the best you can get is instant NesCafe, while in others they only have espresso or cappuccino. In other countries it is difficult to even find coffee because they drink matcha or something else. I like my American style medium dark roast, and this kettle is compact enough I can have the luxury of my style of coffee in the morning wherever I go. Obviously, you can use the kettle to heat water for anything from tea, instant oatmeal, Ramen noodle soup, or whatever. I would not recommend attempting to heat anything other than water. There is a switch to change from 110 to 220 current, and an adapter which worked very well for me in South America where I dealt with three different kinds of outlets. My kettle also came with a collapsible silicone cup, but I have not used that. It didn't look sturdy enough to use with my pour over coffee maker, so I take my own mug for that. However, it would work well for tea or instant coffee. I am very happy with my purchase and think you will be too.

Second time’s a charm!
Kettle came with a collapsible cup, power chord, surge protector/international plug and a hard case. Looks to have great functionality but the handle was broken when I opened up the package. I was unable to test it out as I had to request a replacement. I just received the replacement and that one was thankfully not broken. Edit: I got my replacement just in time for my 2-week trip. I’m one week into my trip and this little kettle works like a champ. It heats up water quick and shuts off automatically when it reaches the boiling point. Very pleased with this little kettle and would recommend for travel and for space saving purposes.

Excellent with quirks to use properly... tips (and warnings!) included.
I have been trying to find the perfect travel kettle for a long time and this is the closest I have found... it does have some quirks that I have been working out. I have been making short trips during the covid thing to remain sane, and I need my tea in the morning as part of my ritual. Hotel coffee set ups in the USA suck for tea lovers. Coffee flavored water and stale bags yuck. Here are some tips. 1. Let the pot air out when you get it and boil water with lemon or vinegar in it at least 5-10 times before you take it in a trip to get the stink out. 2. When you finish heating water with it and are ready to store it, set the switch to OFF to prevent accidental turning it on dry when plugging it in empty because that will damage the element. 3. Let it dry completely before storage. 4. If you make tea with sugar directly IN the pot (which I do) turn it OFF after it boils the first time and MANUALLY turn it on to reheat while watching it carefully because otherwise if you leave the lid on and it turns itself on to reheat, it will spray hot tea all over the place. (I did this TWICE - so I am serious about this). The pot automatically reheats the water if you leave it in the ON position.... which works great if you are just heating water... but tea with sugar must have a magic viscosity that defeats this purpose. Plus imagine the disaster you would have if you forgot it and it kept doing this over and over until the pot ran dry... yikes. So.... don’t do it. 5. Do not try to unplug the cord from the pot to move it to serve when it is full and hot... just bring your cups TO the pot and pour with the cord still plugged into the base of the pot. Again, a disaster if you do it wrong. Again, did that twice.... don’t say I never learn.... lots of tea stained hotel towels later... I am writing this for you to save hotels (and you) the trouble. 6. The cup that comes with it is great for using in the bathroom to take pills etc, but it is too tippy and fragile for hot liquids. Do not use it for this purpose. You will make another mess. Yep, did that too. But only ONCE. Have fun. It is a great pot, not so great cup, and requires patience and proper handling. Enjoy!

Perfect for tea and hot water drinkers!
I really liked this travel kettle. At this point in my life, I'm a committed tea drinker, so I needed a kettle for my hotel room. I shopped for a few and this one checked most of the boxes. The one thing it's missing is temperature control. It takes your water straight to boiling, but you can manage that if you just turn the kettle off. That's a bit more work, but it is what it is. On the first night of my trip, I stayed at an airport hotel to make sure I caught my 7 am flight. It was great. I ordered some delivery, and it was nice to have a warm cup of tea with dinner. It ends up that a friend let me stay with her and her family, but it was still nice to have this travel kettle set up in the guest room I was in. I didn't have to wander around in an unfamiliar place late at night or early in the morning. I could fill it up and know I'd have warm water for a cup of tea or hot water as soon as I needed it, which is a lot, as I drink a lot of beverages to stay hydrated. All in all, I'm looking forward to more trips with this kettle. The cup it comes with is convenient, but it's really easy to knock over. I did that once, but as it was hot water, I just needed things to dry out. But keep that in mind.

Estoy sorprendida por la excelente calidad, la he llevado en varios viajes y se adapta a todas las corrientes, además ocupa poco espacio y siempre tengo agua caliente para el café y los mates. Hermoso para regalar a quienes viajan.
