This is the first sealer I received a recommendation for when asking other crafters about sealing my diamond dotz paintings. Since at time, a number of companies have gotten in on the diamond dot craze & there are lots of sealer choices. I've seen recommendations to use Mod Podge, fabric glue, and sealers made by specific diamond painting companies. I will admit that I've tried a few of these other sealers, especially the ones designated as being "for diamond painting sealing" but I come right back to this sealer again & again. This sealer goes on clear & thin, you can use a regular paint brush or a foam brush (if you want to just throw brush away after completion), & you can reapply or apply more than one coat if you want thicker sealing or you accidentally bend your painting after the sealer has dried (can you tell that's me?!? LOL) The sealer always dries crystal clear & a little goes a long way. I especially love how it fills in the spaces between the dotz/tiles so that the painting looks even more realistic than it would without the sealer. I've also found that there is no need to get the painting framed with special glass over it even when the painting receives some sunlight through surrounding windows. The sealer does a great job of not yellowing over time & being easy to dust/wipe down if needed. So, now, instead of spending a bunch of money getting my paintings framed at local shops, I can seal them myself, frame them in the bevy of frame options offered by Amazon & other "discount" companies, & spend all that saved money on buying more diamond painting kits!! Win WIN!!!

Great product. I use it to cover anything I paint and want to put outside. Rocks, planters.... use a thick coat and just let dry.

Excellent sealer... But the odor is STRONG..

Waited and was glad i did! The sheen and finish was totally worth the wait! My oyster shells look amazing. It was easy to apply and excess washed off easily.

This is by far the best painting gloss I've come across. It's so rich and thick and it dries clear. All it takes is one coat and your painting will look beautiful and vibrant. Just watch how you stack multiple paintings, you don't want to ruin them.
