Flimsy plastic but great for the price. I wouldn't recommend for someone's child that might be opening and closing it constantly because I feel like the lid would eventually snap off.

I needed basic pencil cases for crayons, markers, pencils for my granddaughter. They work great and seem to be pretty decent quality. That is, she hasn't broken them yet!

These pencil boxes are great for small storage boxes

Perhaps my expectations were too high but after a month or two of heavy use by 3 kids including a toddler, half of the boxes are broken. They still do what is needed by holding art supplies but if I could choose again I’d pick something more durable. The one my 7 year old uses at school i’d still fine, but I’d be surprised if it lasts more than 1 school year.

These feel cheap, but to get a pack of four for the price is fine since even the more expensive ones feel cheaply made these days! I would recommend, especially for kids.
