Kooljewelry Solid 14k Yellow Gold Filled Rope Chain Necklace for Men and Women (2.1 mm, 3.2 mm, 4.2 mm or 6 mm)

I purchased this gold filled rope chain close to a year ago and it still looks like it’s brand new. I have cleaned it twice so far and I’m just absolutely amazed at how great it looks and how well it’s stood up. The last chain that I bought came from Walmart and it was supposedly 24 karat gold and rusted and gave me a horrible rash all over my neck. I would definitely recommend this company for their gold filled chains. I have been extremely impressed with the quality of of jewelry that I purchased. I sincerely hope that if you follow my advice and purchase a piece of jewelry from this company that you are as happy and satisfied with the product that you have received. Ok, so I bought the 20” 3mm back in April of 25 and wore it every day even in the shower. It’s been a year and the chain looks great fresh out of the ultrasonic cleaner. Even most of the plated lobster clasp is still gold, some parts have faded to brass, but that’s ok. You can only see it up close. I docked one star being that when it first arrived, the gold color was richer in tone, closer to real 14 or even 18k. Now, to my eye it looks more like 10k. See the photo and you tell me. Makes me think they use 10k gold filled and then plate it in 14k or 18k. I’m still not sure if this is real gold filled. It might be vermeil which could also explain the very slight fading. It’s still very shiny and looks nice, just not as rich as new. I would pay good money for genuine18k gold filled. Either way I’m happy with it and feel like I got a good deal for the price.

Not the title that you would expect to see on a five star review. However, I was trying to fit it inside of a charm that was way too small. And upon trying to fit it inside of that charm or pendant, I pulled it so hard that it began to come apart. I was so determined to get it through the hole of that pendant. I broke the pendant, and lastly the chain. I got it through, but it was unwound. Well, upon seeing all the separated pieces and looking at it, one could hardly tell that this chain wasn’t real gold, save the fact that real gold would have snapped way faster and is a softer metal. It looked tacky so I just finished breaking it intentionally into two pieces. I am a strong guy and bench 425 lbs and it gave me a struggle. I couldn’t see any silver spots in the metal until I looked really hard. Would I be in the need of another chain I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this one again. Not to mention the fact that , it was so hard to break. Good quality stuff here if you can’t afford solid gold, then definitely buy this one.

Beautiful necklace! Durable gold filled necklace is gorgeous and much stronger than solid gold. Looking at it you can’t tell the difference from solid gold. Thick gold plating ,Highly recommend!

Looks great out of the package, but broke a month after purchase. Not the clasp either, but in the middle of the necklace. Wasn’t pulled or anything either. Just fell off while changing shirts.

still like new. never tarnishes. unlike gold plated, it's not a "gold coating" that rubs off after a few wears, this was meant to last a lifetime. and honestly, im more shocked than anything. this is the best $100 i've spent, and i'll probably buy another one soon
