Perfect on Mac, PC, and compatible with SDHC cards
The Sony MRW62E/S1/181 -is- fully SDHC compatible and works perfectly on Mac + PC. According to some of the very outdated reviews, this memory card reader was not compatible with SDHC cards. I can confirm that my Sony MRW62E/S1/181 (dated MAY2010 on the back, green LED up front) is fully SDHC compatible. It performed flawlessly with my SanDisk Extreme SDHC Class-10 8GB card and my Fujifilm SDHC Class-6 4GB card. I tried it on our Windows XP PC, Windows 7 PC, iMac, Mac Mini, and MacBook Pro laptop (all running Mac OS X 10.6.5 "Snow Leopard"). Skipped Windows Vista 'cuz we refused to use that crippled POSMSOS. I also tried the SanDisk UltraII 8GB and SanDisk UDMA 8GB CompactFlash (CF) cards, a couple Sony memory sticks, and an old 2GB xD card from an Olympus camera. They all worked fine through the Sony reader on our Macs and PC's. I like the fit and finish and quality feel of this Sony memory card reader compared to some of the less costly cheapies out there so I'm ordering another Sony reader today.

Sony 17 in 1 memory card reader/writer
I bought this 17 in 1 memory card reader/writer and it one of the best card reader/writer i have ever owned. Software easy to install and the device is easy to use and works great with SD, Micro SD and Pro Stick Duo memory cards. One draw back before buying one is that it doesn't come with the USB cable to hook it up to your computer so you need to get one when you buy this device. Lucky for me it takes the same USB cable that my Sony PSP dose or i would of been out of luck till i ordered one. Other then that this is a great product to have.

Sony 17-in1 USB 2.0 flash Memory Card Reader MRW62E/S1/181
This product does not even deserve a review. I got ordered this on March 27, 2019, returned it on April 1, 2019 because it did not work. Got a return authorization to return it, I returned it but got no credit in exchange--actually nothing back. Guess there goes $74 bucks down the drain SO WHERES MY REFUND!!!!

Good Memory Card Reader
It is very handy having this around. I don't have to remember which pc has the software for the camera anymore. I just plug the reader into the pc and the driver is automatically loaded. No complaints about this unit - it does what it is suppose to do.

You Get What You Pay For
I'm very happy with this card reader. I was looking for something that reads both Compact Flash (Extreme III, 4GB) and XD cards quickly. Many readers, especially the cheaper ones, don't read XD cards, and many don't handle some of the newer high speed CF cards very well. This one does it all, and handles many other card types as well. My Windows Vista computer recognizes it instantly and I didn't even need to install any new drivers. The cards fit snugly, but you don't need to force them in like you do on some of the lower quality (cheap) readers. I hesitated in ordering this reader because of the relatively higher price, but as they say, "You get what you pay for". And in this case, you get very good quality construction and technology. Well done Sony!

Basic Reader Behind the Times
The unit has let me down. Especially for higher capacity cards (>=4GB). Sony support mentions that the memory card isn't good for 4GB or larger cards. SDHC cards also suffer under this reader. You're better off finding a more modern memory card reader.

Memory card reader
Not impressed with product! Have Olympus XD card reader and the software is much simpler to use and much much more speed on downloads! It is not a simple process to use and format the memory card after download.

Takes the hard knocks!
Bought this to use in a portable situation, although it graces my desktop now. I don't think I can kill this device! For example: I had a bad SD card that bricked a camera. My EXPENSIVE camera. So I placed the SD card on the desk and totally forgot about it. One day I was sorting through papers and had forgotten it was there. I jacked it into my Sony Card Reader, and even though the card didn't function, the reader was doing it's job. I pulled the card, chucked it in the trash, and grabbed another SD card to check the reader. Works a charm! Highly recommend this over those cheap-o versions you'll find on Amazon or eBay, as I've had a few and they were all bad.
