Best Lip Balm!
The Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 is a highly-rated, professional-grade lip treatment designed to provide immediate relief for severely dry or chapped lips. Unlike standard waxy sticks, its emollient formula uses shea butter and avocado oil to penetrate deeply, creating a protective barrier against wind and extreme temperatures. Key Highlights • High Sun Protection: It offers SPF 25 broad-spectrum protection, which is higher than many competitors, making it a favorite for outdoor activities. • Antioxidant-Rich: Formulated with Vitamin E and Green Tea extract to help protect skin cells from free-radical damage. • Long-Lasting Hydration: Users frequently report that it stays on through eating and drinking, requiring fewer reapplications throughout the day. • Flavor Variety: Available in several popular scents like Natural Mint, Black Cherry, and Grapefruit & Ginger. For those who want to stock up or try multiple flavors, the Jack Black Lip Balm Trio or The Balm Squad sets offer a better overall value.

Lovely lip balm
This lip balm smells amazing. It has such a light, lemon scent. It does a great job of moisturizing my lips. It is fairly priced. I also like the packaging. It’s timeless and clean. I will definitely be reordering.

The ONLY balm I've found that works well
The skin on my lips is a bit delicate and dries out very easily. Add to that I live in an arid climate which only exacerbates the problem. When I feel any tough or dead skin on my lips I have the nervous habit of using my teeth to nip at it, which only makes it thicker and more callous. I then use paraben-based lip products to try to heal and soften the skin- but it only covers the thick skin. Then when the paraben wears off the skin is a bit softer and more willing to come off, and again I nip at the edges trying to remove the dead skin. This becomes a vicious cycle and has been something of a problem. People would catch me nipping at my lips and wonder what the heck I was doing! So I. Tried HARD to resist the urge to nip in front of people or to hide it. Then that inevitable moment when you go too far and break the skin or a crack starts. UGH!! I even tried various exfoliants to remove this skin, but the nervous habit remained. I went so far as to use my coffee grinds with honey to exfoliate, then immediately moisturize and try to seal the skin. I even resorted to experimenting with different hand lotions AND THEN lip balm after exfoliating. This has helped, but it's also rough on my lips and is a lot of work to do. I have to do this 2-3 times a day to just maintain having not-quite cracked lips! I needed this to stop! So I tried to just outright break the habit of nipping at it and just keep them treated and late them just HEAL. I was doing pretty well for like five days, but any time I would get nervous or feel dead skin... it's like a nervous tick. I do it without thinking and catch myself. But the damage was done. Then again with exfoliating and moisturizing. The vicious cycle continued. So I set out to really do some research, and this product consistently came up as a solution. Well, I've only been using it for two weeks now and my lips are 95% better. Any time I feel the need to nip I just apply this. I still have to exfoliate maybe twice a week, but every time I go to nip I find there's virtually nothing to nip at! My lips are fully healed and they're finally soft again. The tough skin is nearly all gone! This stuff seems to both penetrate and protect the surface. It's quickly getting to a point that I no longer have to think about my lips. If I feel the urge to nip I just apply this and pretty much forget about it and move on with my day. Hopefully this helps someone else. It's weird to be sort of excited something so trivial, but sometimes it's the small victories!

Love this lip gloss! It’s smooth, not sticky, and gives a beautiful shine while keeping my lips moisturized. The color is flattering and perfect for everyday wear. Will definitely buy again!

Great Choice for Males: SPF + Hydration + NO SHINE!
This has been one of my favorite lip balms I've tried in the last few months. Important for me, as a male, was that it has an SPF component, is hydrating, and HAS NO SPARKLY FINISH. I hate some of these balms that make it look like I am using lip gloss, makes it embarrassing sometimes when I am at work and need to hide my lips. This is a solid choice if you need dependable moisture and protection. It goes on smoothly without feeling sticky or heavy, and the SPF is a big plus for everyday wear. It hydrates well and keeps lips from drying out, even in harsher weather. The only reason it’s not a full five stars is that it’s not dramatically better than a few less expensive options—you’re paying a bit of a premium for the brand and slick packaging. Still, it’s a high-quality balm that does exactly what it promises and feels great on.

Just Buy The Natural Mint
I bought a bunch of these, so hopefully my review helps somebody out who is having a hard time deciding between them. First off, I normally only use Burt's Bees, and I generally avoid these types of thinner balms that have the weird plastic tip that you wipe all over your lips. However, I was pretty impressed by this one. The best part about it is the fact that it absorbs into your lips quite quickly, so you aren't left with a greasy feeling or shiny look at all. I think this stuff is great to use when you're planning to be outside and need a little SPF protection on your lips, or if you find that your lips are just really chapped during winter or something. This won't completely replace my stick of Burt's Bees, but I think it's a worthy addition that I tend to reach for daily. It's worth mentioning that these are not "flavored" lip balms. You can't taste any of these flavors, you can only smell them. If you run your tongue over the balm, it has zero taste, but my nose can smell the scents for about a half hour to an hour after applying. I was a little nervous that the SPF was going to have that bitter taste that some lip balms with sunscreen tend to have, but not this one. I almost forgot it actually had sun protection in it. *Natural Mint*: Probably the best flavor, the mint is really natural smelling and you feel the tingle on your lips, which I like. The mint is very soft, we're not talking toothpaste mint or anything like that. Definitely my favorite of the balms, and the one I will be re-ordering. *Black Tea and Blackberry*: Not bad, I was hoping for better. Blackberry is the main note, and then you get a little musky/slightly bitter smell at the end. My issue with this scent is that it smells pretty feminine, and it's quite strong. *Grapefruit and Ginger*: Big ginger notes here, not as much grapefruit as I was hoping for. Probably good for the summer. Lemon and Chamomile: Again, just okay. Lots of lemon, and a bit herbal. I'd probably go for either of the other ones above over this one. Shea Butter And Vitamin E: Smells pretty much like shea butter, if you've smelled body lotions that have it as a main ingredient. It's kind of nutty, almost like hazelnut or something. I would suggest getting this if you DON'T like mint, and hate most scents. This is pretty neutral and not noticeable. Honestly, I think they should discontinue all of the scents aside from Natural Mint and the Shea Butter (for those that don't want scents). The other smells are nice, but I really just couldn't ever see myself using them regularly. Still though, the balm was consistent and worked great across all of the scents, but the added tingle of the Natural Mint made it a clear winner.

This Stuff Works Well
For the quick synopsis, skip to the last sentence! I always get chapped lips in the winter, but this year has been bizarrely bad! I have not seen my lips dry up and flake like this before. Some advised I see a dermatologist, and of course, asked if I was drinking enough water. (Not to say I shouldn't have visited or I do drink enough water). I'm in a routine of applying a lip treatment after showering (aquaphor lip repair), and applying a chapstick or balm a few times throughout the day. (I've tried a dozen(s) types over the years and tried a few new this season). They may get a bit scaly half way through the day or in the end, but again, not like this. I purchased another new balm to try along with the others I already had, and they would help or delay the dry mess for awhile, but none of them seemed to really prevent the dry lip horror by the end of the day. Maybe the air in my home was too dry? I bought a humidifier in hopes of helping my lips and my skin, as my hands get rough in the winter as well. A week went by and I didn't see notable improvement (not to say there aren't other benefits to having the humidifier, as we know. I am still happily utilizing it). After spending an evening at my parents house for dinner, little did I realize my dry lips had returned in full force. I knew they were dry, but after my mother commented on it and I looked in a mirror, YIKES. She insisted I use some of her Vaseline Petroleum Jelly and keep it, so I did. I started applying it at night and after showering, and it really seemed to help. I read more about the product later and found there is controversy around the pros and cons of it, but from my personal experience, I can attest that for me it is effective and beneficial. It tamed and removed or prevented my ghastly flakes and relieved my thirsty lips. A day before I was given the Vaseline I had browsed new products and ended up purchasing this Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 in Shea Butter & Vitamin E. I looked forward to its arrival to see how well it may work, though I didn't hold my breath. If it did work, however, it'd be what I'd use during the day. To my delight and surprise, it worked really well! When I apply it before the dryness starts to show itself, or after it has begun, it wipes it away. It's easy to apply, isn't super sticky or annoying, has a non-offensive smell and flavor, and can go under or on top of lip color as well. HOORAY!!! And guess what? Active Ingredients: Avobenzone 3% ... Sunscreen Octinoxate 7.5% ... Sunscreen Petrolatum 40.2% ... Skin Protectant PETROLATUM... another term for petroleum jelly. Well doesn't that just make sense. I'll be darned. That was funny to learn, considering. LONG STORY SHORT: I'm a fan.

👄🤩 HOLY GRAIL 🤩👄
With so many thousands of reviews, I doubt mine will make a huge difference, but I just wanted to say that after years and years and YEARS (I’m in my 40s, so yes—YEARS) I have finally found the perfect lip balm that works for me. I live in a northern climate where winters are full of cold, dry air outside and hot dry air inside. But for some reason, my lips have been chapped year-round, and I think it’s because I have never used a product with lanolin in it before. I have tried every brand of lip balm under $20 and I had to constantly reapply them throughout the day. It was to the point where if I left the house without a Chapstick I would panic, because of how dry my lips would get. I put on Jack Black at night and my lips STILL feel soft and moisturized the next afternoon! This is after eating breakfast and drinking coffee all morning. Since it actually penetrates the skin on the lips, it lasts longer than an hour like other lip balms. I don’t find the formula to be sticky at all. If you are allergic to wool or lanolin, then this product won’t work for you, but otherwise, I think your mind will be blown. There are so many flavors to choose from. Although the flavor isn’t overwhelming, I did not particularly care for the pineapple and mint, because it felt like the flavors were going to different directions, sweet and warm and tropical vs cool and tingly mint. I love the black tea and blackberry and the Shea butter, and I just ordered a tube of the lemon based on a review that said it tastes less citrus and more like lemon frosting. That is exactly the flavor I want. Yes, at $10 a tube it is more expensive than the cheapie drugstore brands, but it’s a better quality product and actually does the job. The results are so long lasting that you will end up saving money in the long run because you don’t have to keep buying more crap that doesn’t work as well.
