OXO SteeL Angled Measuring Jigger

Long lasting because it's metal. The markings haven't come off in the dishwasher after about 2 years. These angled measuring tools from OXO are really convenient, highly recommend, especially if you're on the tall side. Really good OXO quality and the fact that its steel gives confidence that it'll last longer than the plastic ones and it's not as fragile as glass ones. Having this makes me feel like I'm showing off when making drinks because it feels professional and accurate.

This little jigger works so well, that I got rid of all my old ones. The measurements are much easier to read from above, and they are laser etched, so they don't wash off in the dishwasher. It also pours much better than the others, so you won't have the mess. This is a great design!

This is a great product. handy for measuring, I can read the values, and it is less mess than many other jiggers. OXO is a leader in bar gear, and every bar needs at least one of these.

I've used this measuring jigger consistently for about one year now and it is as good as new. I love that the markings are easy to read. They can be viewed from above and you don't need to get down to eye level to read the measurements. It provides both tablespoon and ounce markings to fit whatever recipe you're using. The spout also provides a clean pour. The stainless steel makes the cup look simple and streamlined. It is easy to wash. Because I only use it to measure water-soluble ingredients, I simply rinse it out by hand and give it a quick scrub with the yellow side of a sponge. I avoid using the green abrasive side and have not had any issues with the markings fading away. I also do not put it in the dishwasher, so cannot attest to what that experience is like. Washing it by hand takes me just a couple of seconds. I use this to mix cocktails and it makes the whole cocktail experience a breeze. Prior to purchasing this, I debated between this and other more traditional looking barware, like a double jigger. This product provides a much cleaner experience because I'm not flipping the measuring cup back and forth where liquids can drip onto your countertop. As a regular home cook who likes to occasionally entertain, this measuring cup fits my needs perfectly. It is easy to use, quick to wash, and does not make a sticky mess in my kitchen.

I bought one of these in February 2020 and have been using it on a regular basis for mixing drinks. The printing is easy to read, and having the markings on the inside is very convenient for measurements. I bought another one this month (June 2025) as a backup. Some reviewers mentioned the markings fading, but after 5 years of frequent use (5+ times per week), mine still looks pretty good. In the photo, the jigger on the left is brand new out of the package, and the jigger on the right is over 5 years old. There is a little fading, but not too bad. The trick is to hand-wash it whenever possible.

To start off, this OXO jigger is really nice. The metal feels high quality, and the brushed look is quite attractive. I love that it has a spout, so that when I pour from it, liquid doesn't dribble over the edge and spill everywhere. From other reviews, it seems there is some misconception about etching vs. engraving. Engraving cuts a significant depth into the metal, so you will feel a noticeable height difference if you run your finger over it. Etching only burns away an extremely shallow surface layer, so it's quite possible to not feel any difference with a finger. Ink will often be used to enhance visibility of an etching, and I suspect that's what OXO did with this jigger, and why it's possible for that ink to eventually wash away as some other reviewers experienced. The etching is likely still there -- it's just not so visible anymore without the additional ink. So while it's probably correct for OXO to say that the markings are "etched", I am deducting a star because it's obviously and somewhat egregiously incorrect for them to advertise that Etched Measurement markings "will not fade". For that reason, I plan to always hand wash my jigger with a light touch and soft sponge, because the product itself is really nice, and I'd like to keep it usable for as long as possible.

Easily the best bar measuring cup i have ever come across and used. My brother and I are gear nerds, and this was his choice for his home bar. Once I had used it a few times, I had to have one, and it is fantastic! Easy to use, extremely durable, and we'll worth the price compared to the plastic version!
