They work so well, easy to use, compact and heat quickly
Ok these have exceeded my expectations. The size is awesome and fits well in a carry on bag, great for travel. They heat up very quickly. There are plenty of rollers to place a couple of large around the back and medium and small around your face. The curl is just as good as going to the hairdresser. I was so surprised how well they worked. They are easy to use and dont pull my hair. I have very fine hair which is shoulder length with a curtain fringe. Highly highly recommend these.

No heat, no curl, missing pieces
Rollers still not getting warm enough after 30 minutes and the wire clips that are included are missing.

Conair HS 10 Instand Heat Compact Hot Rollers
First let me say this set is absolutely wonderful. You have the following; 4 small rollers 5 medium rollers and 3 big rollers. This set is great for those with above the shoulder or short hair. The system heats up quickly. You must keep the carry bag closed and the rollers retain the heat. The system comes with hair pins that hold the rollers in place and they do an excellent job of it if you know how to use them. I saw other reviews where people complained about the pins. Guess what you have to know how to use the rollers and how to set your hair. Sometimes it takes practice all systems have hair clips that you must use or even if you get the Caruso curler the shell holds. This system is compact that you can put it in a large purse or a tote bag and away you go. This is an excellent system for short hair gals. It's fast while you have your haired rolled up it gives you the opportunity to do other things. The curls with these rolers stay for me but I must say it's not the roller that determines if your hair curler will stay it's your hair type if it's hard to curl then you must use some product then try the rollers. Spend some time with the system it's not that hard to do I would advise that on any hair styling product. I found this system to be excellent and would advise anyone with short hair to get this.

Don't believe the negative reviews.
From the negative reviews I did not expect much from these, which I bought to use for travel, but I am perfectly happy with them. Maybe it's because I have been using hot rollers since they first became available in the 70s, but I find nothing wrong with these. They are the smallest set I have ever seen, which is what I wanted. I chose only four stars because I would have preferred a set with all "jumbo" rollers, and I only really need six or seven. I suppose the little ones will come in handy when I get my next haircut, though. To address the common complaints: The rollers do not have to feel blazing hot to your hand in order to work. The first time I used them I let them heat for about ten minutes, and they were only warm to the touch. I put them in anyway thinking I could always let them heat up longer if they didn't work. They worked fine, giving me great bouncy long-lasting curls even though they weren't hot enough to singe my ears like other sets I've owned. If you take a second or two to actually LOOK at the clips (which are indeed all tipped in white) it is *obvious* that there are three distinct sizes. If you use a clip that is the wrong size for the roller, it will either fly across the room or the roller will fall out of your hair. Start with the biggest rollers and the biggest clips, and you'll be fine. I should have ignored the negative reviews and not bought the Conair super clips to go with them, because they are not needed. The wire clips work just fine. Put them in from UNDER the roller, going against the direction of the curl, with the rounded end close to your scalp and the open end (bent end on top) sticking up. I actually prefer the wire clips because the big clips on my regular set always leave crimps in my hair. The wire clips never do. For the record, my hair is right at shoulder length and baby fine, and there's a lot of it. I had no "frizzy ends" issues at all. To sum up: They're small, they're designed well, they're perfect for travel (with dual voltage too!), they do the job, they won't burn your ears, and for Maude's sake, they only cost $11.58! You'd pay more than that for a premium martini.

Not quite instant heat...
The size of the rollers is nice and compact and you can easily travel with them. The instant heat is misleading. Yes, they are warm in just a few minutes, but if you have longer hair or want a tighter curl, the rollers need to be really warm. I found that by heating them 10 minutes or more, they work much better. I do wish there were more of the larger sized rollers. I have long hair and could definitely use more rollers. They do produce a nice wave. For the price, they are ok and if you need to travel with rollers they are definitely compact. I would definitely look for another model if you want them for every day use.

Exactly Perfect
I got these to use with the hot roller set I already have, a full size set still never has enough rollers for my whole head, but I didn't need 2 full size sets either, just a few extra. Also I like the idea of having a small travel option that will fit neatly in my carry on if necessary. This is a really good deal on rollers and I'm frankly surprised at all the negative reviews. I made sure each roller was firmly clamped/snapped into place first, as you can clearly see that they have to be, plugged them in with the case zipped and gave them a decent amount of time to heat up, probably about 10 mins or so, they might have been hot before that, I didn't check. They were just as hot as my more expensive set, all of them, and evenly heated as well. I really like the little comb along the side of the roller, its kind of cool. One thing I have noticed that caused that made people give this product a bad review is that they don't like the clips. I agree wholeheartedy, I really dislike this type of metal holder thing myself, which is why I went out and bought a cheap set of plastic clips to hold them to my head. Some people may not want the extra "trouble", but it isn't really a big deal of a fix, even with the extra 3 bucks or so the clips cost me, it was cheaper than a lot of travel sets total. the clips have nothing to do with the performance of the product, the product is outstanding.

Good size. Excellent to travel. Clips are included in the box. 2 sizes of curlers. Wish they were a litlle bit smaller. For my type of hair, short and very fine, the regular size is good but the big ones, too big. Amazon service is excellent.

Heat up very quickly

Funcionan muy bien. Pero era un regalo y la cumpleañera prefirió devolverlo por no tener pinzas. Yo no me los quedo porque ya tengo. Se calientan rápido y hacen tirabuzones que aguantan hasta que te lavas el pelo.
