It probably won't last as long, but for a buck who cares...

Better than a paint brush!
We were using disposable paint brushes for spreading BBQ sauce on our grill. That was fine.. if you ignore the broken bristles getting into the sauce and short handle so you burned your hands. This brush really works well! It spreads the sauce evenly, is long enough to help not burning your hands. So far (only one use) the bristles seem to hold up to the heat as well.

BBQ Brush
This is a really nice bbq brush. It has a nice stainless handle and it nice and compact. We have purchased BBQ brushes in the past and they are so big we can barely get them in our utensil drawer. The soft rubber bristles seem to be a non-stick material because it was very easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this to other BBQ lovers.

This thing is about 3 inches long. Don't expect to use this thing when you have a high flame going

not for my bbq
This is a very nice kitchen basting brush.... It's only 8 inches long so with regards to serious BBQ i'm not sure why it gets 5 stars. Get yourself a longer mop unless you like holding your arm directly over a fire.

too expensive
Item is over rated and too expensive, brush head is too small when BBQing large ribs or larger cuts of meat. I have seen better products in Dept. stores for less. Would not recommend.

Sturdy design, seems like it will last for a ...
Got this for my husband for xmas. We have used it once, works well. Sturdy design, seems like it will last for a while. easy to clean as well. Nice long handle for using with a grill or smoker.

Small But Mighty Baster
I followed another customers recommendation to buy a small baster so the basing liquid stays on the food and does not go through the grate. That was a good suggestion. This is sturdy and great addition to my kitchen.
