Satisfied aquarium hobbyist
Indeed use for my family’s 160 gallon discus display. Battling mineral/tds creep from required top offs with heavy water changes just did not get to my preferred soft water parameters. Used 16 once’s of media in a micro mesh bag with a in-sump media reactor as a starting point. Initial discharge test was 42 tds from reactor after 12-15 hours media was exhausted. Lowered aquariums water column 50 tds points and surprised by 10-15 ppm in lowered nitrates used api no3 test kit noticeable color change in the glass tube! ORP increased by 28 mv. Moving forward ATO will have demineralized water in the holding tank. Nice tool to add to my aquarium hobby ion exchange water polishing. Do recommend this product will purchase again.

Fantastic deionizing, great color change, excellent value
If you’re looking for DI resin for supporting your reef aquarium, I would recommend this. I have very hard and iron rich well water. I have been using a basic pre-filter, 5micron carbon, and 1micron carbon pre-filter. My system has a permeat pump as well as a booster pump. So far, I have gone through 2 cartridge refills with this resin. I’ve had good success at storing the resin with a vacuum packer. The color change has been easy to read. Despite my hard iron water, I have been producing surprisingly low conductivity water.

For spot-free rinsing after washing the car
I actually use this in my spot-free rinse setup for car washing. I have two 10-inch canisters filled with this resin and it truly delivers spot-free rinsing. The color change gradually creeps up the canisters (they're clear) to let me know when it's time for a replacement. Love this stuff.

Good price. May update once I know the life.
I'm using this product in the 5th and 6th stage of an AR-122 koolermax RODI system. My water supply reads 150-400tds coming in and I had ran about 250 gallons through the koolermax resin before it browned and started reading 4 out. It's back to 0tds with the original carbon and membrane filters. All I can say is the particle size is larger and blue/gold vs solid green powder. May update in the future if Im frequently changing but it seems to be a deal at the moment. Still figuring this out some people say the membranes need to be flushed and changed frequently kooler says all filters changed yearly but doesnt give gallons... may move my water supply tds meter after membrane to know more.

This is the real deal!!! Don't be fooled by low grade fakes!!!
Resin came in exactly as it is shown. Dark blue, in an air tight bag. It came with a very heavy duty light block lg. Zip lock storage pouch to keep the remaining resin which by the way is definitely top quality!! I have only filled my cartridge once in the past month and a half and it is just now reaching the half way Mark which for me means I'm getting more than twice as long out of this resin than the previous resin i was using.

0 TDS.35 OUT OF 37 GALLONS.
Didn't quite get 37 gallons before 3tds.It used 1 cartridge. It is 4 lbs and 3 TDS for the last few gallons isn't that bad.

Working well for my humidifier
I have the Honeywell steam humidifier that many people find lasts only about one or two seasons. Honeywell provides an RO Filter to install on the supply slide to keep the humidifier free of sediment, which may be one of the reasons it doesn't last long. My water is on the soft side, and I have to use a sump pump to get waste water out of the location where the HVAC is located, plus a high charge for water use. So instead of the hassle and costs of using an RO filter, I tried this DI resin in a refillable cartridge (a slim line 2.5" x 10" cartridge) . Because the humidifier pumps out about 8-10 gallons a day, I have to refill the filter cartridge with resin around once every month or so), but the humidifier has hardly any sediment in it, and so far so good with the unit continuing to function.
