Good info

Good older book by Holley. However, good basic explanation of 4160 and 4150. Would suggest for anyone interested in Holley carbs. you buy Divid Vizards book on Holley carbs also sold here.

Typical engineer here, I have always felt more comfortable with computer controlled fuel delivery systems because, well I just understand them better. I love cars and working on them and always felt dumb for not understanding carbs. This book is awesome for helping me over that hump and looks to have enough info I will feel comfortable disassembling the 4160 carb off my 1976 f250 for a rebuild.

i bought this for reference on fixing all auto chv ford dodge and other foren any and all my old last buy burn up in shop i was replace them

Long time wrench twister, and in all my years this is the first book that is simple when it comes to carbs. Very enjoyable read, and I liked how there was real pics used! Perfect for anyone who needs to do a rebuild, or just wants to understand the basics. Bought this for my brother (non-mechanical) and was amazed when he came back to me and asked me to read it so we could talk about it more.

Expected more detail.

In my younger years I got a lot of exposure to and worked on carbs from British, French, German, and Italian cars. Getting back into classic car restorations, I decided to take on something with a Ford engine, and Holley carb. Time to get a book. This book did a good job of showing me how the Holley 4 barrel carbs work and how to adjust them.

I have been looking for a good how too book on the holley carb's for a while and a friend told me about this one.
