Revlon Matte Balm, Unapologetic

really dynamic color against my skin tone. i don't usually invest in myself but decided to recently, and this color is just striking. it literally makes me feel like i should get out of the house so people will see it on me. lol! "I'm ready for my close up" 😁 the color glides on smoothly, and it acts very professional when doing so, like it's trying to do its very best job. and then the color actually lasts a decent amount of time. i have adhd too bad to count the amount of time. enough time. whatever that is. but the shade was just really made by love, whoever created it. i have a very light complected, olive skin tone, with brown hair and blue eyes. idk why people mention that, but in case it helps? also, i like crossword puzzles, pit bulls... lol jk editing to add that it also smells good, kind of like cinnamon. it's very mild so i didn't notice it at first when being so impressed with the shade. also, i layer a metallic lipstick (gloss?) over it that lasts for hours, even through eating and drinking. i reviewed it somewhere else on amazon but i don't want to go find it right now.

This product arrives intact and it’s a color I didn’t have and wanted one to go with my purple colors I wear. It’s moist and the texture feels gear in your lips. It stays on and is smudge resistant. I love this color for its bright purpley color.

I just had my color analysis and the woman suggested this product! Perfect match for a winter. It’s moisturizing with no strong Oder. A good value for the money.

This is NOT a red lipstick!! The color and pictures in the description are very misleading. The color is bright pink. With that said, the balm went on very smoothly and was moisturizing. The color wasn’t as expected but stayed on for awhile.

This review is for ‘elusive’ shade AND ‘enchanting’ I purchased ‘enchanting’ which was way too light for my medium tan skintone because it looked dusty white when I put it on. It looked beautiful on my daughter who is very fair and was the exact color as advertised. Now for ‘elusive’ it’s a basic pink , not burgundy and nowhere near the advertised color. I wanted to share that this is a true classic pink and not what the picture on Amazon shows. It’s not hot pink, it’s not pastel. I took a pic with a red crayon beside it so you can see if ‘true pink’ was a color ‘elusive’ is that. It goes on solid and rich color. It’s super* matte but feels great like a traditional lipstick. It has a slight peppermint scent that fades after a few seconds and is the most perfect matte lipstick all around that I’ve ever used. I need more colors of this stuff. Btw it’s Revlon matte balm.

I had a subscription at one time for beauty products. One of the things I got was lipstick. I love that lipstick. I used it down to the bottom. I tried for a long time to find that same lipstick but I never have. But I found this one and it's actually very similar in every way except the name. It's nice and creamy. Wonderful color. I love it. I don't usually pay eighteen dollars for lipstick but I think this is worth the price.

I watched several YouTube videos from people that were supposedly not paid for their review and all of them seemed to be able to wear one application of this all day long through eating and drinking and came home at the end of the day with just a little bit of fading in the corners of their mouth. I don’t know how that’s possible because I couldn’t even drink a cup of coffee yesterday without it taking off half of the color and then I ate some chips and by the time I was done, my lips looked like a hot mess. It had come off in certain spots and was super blotchy and looked awful, totally bleeding past my lip line and I had to reapply it. My lips were completely dry before I put it on so there’s no reason it shouldn’t have stayed. So I don’t know what kind of lip balm they are using, but it seems like it’s something completely different than what this is. Did this really come from Revlon? It just doesn’t seem like it’s anywhere near the longevity of what the YouTube videos show. You will definitely need to reapply this after eating and it will come off on your coffee cup very easily. I had lipstick on both sides of the cup after about 15 minutes of applying this. I’ll keep it because it’s a pretty color but it’s definitely disappointing and not what I thought it would be.

This was more pink than I imagined and something I won't wear. My suggestion is to look at stuff in stores first and if you think you'll like it, order here. I have the worst time ordering makeup from pictures online, they hardly ever look the same. I love purple (pink too actually but this was too pow! for me) and never can get enough purple Lippies! Other colors in this line are very nice and I do like that it is longer lasting as long as you don't wear anything else with it. It is semi-moisturizing, and I prefer more of a lipgloss feel (more moist, not sticky!) So I like to wear these and put lipgloss on top. (Hard Candy has some good ones.) In doing that, I think it makes it disappear faster, especially while eating. They do feel nice on, they are silky smooth and smell good to me. My favorite color can no longer be found which is why I tried this color...not for me!
