Dashboard Discs for Garmin Nuvi Series 2 Pack Disk Dashboard Mount Compatible (010-10646-01)

These discs need to be attached firmly. In my case I had a smooth flat plactic area when they could be attached. They have stuck perfectly rigid. The smmoth top surface gave the perfect platform to attach my Sa/Nav suction cup.

Works well, easy to use/apply and cheap. It is really good for car manual surfaces that's suction cuffs/slamps on phone/satnav holders won't stick to without adhesive and suction cuffs/clamps stick to the disk exsteamly well. Only one full is the glue unsticks if exposed to exsteam sunlight (about 30°c). Comes as pack of 2 which is a bonus, always good to have a spare.

Great to stick to top of cars dashboard for satnav, easy to apply. Would recommend and good value for money

so far all is well, once I figure out how to get the Garmin running, I will know better about adhesion as it turned out the pads didnt stick onto dashboard kept falling off, result Garmin doesnt work, so I will not bother with it

Product arrived quickly, so having read previous reviews I insured that the dashboard was free from dust and any possible contaminants and stuck the dashboard disc in place and left overnight for adhesion to properly take place. Next morning I fixed my mobile phone holder to disc and put phone into cradle, set off for work and 20 minutes later the whole lot fell off the dashboard onto the floor, not good. Luckily no damage to my phone but could have proved quite costly. The adhesive is not up to the job of securely holding the cradle and phone in place, did not try to use the other supplied disc ,not worth the risk so returned for refund.

The adhesive only seems to work on very smooth surfaces. Mottled type dashboards are not really suitable. Peeled off the adhesive and replaced with 3M adhesive discs which seem to work ok now.

I used this for dash mounting my Garmin rather than screen mounting, it allows easier reach to remove satnav and also to input destinations when in place, the disc adheres very well, I cleaned mine with methylated spirits to take any cleaner or shine spray off, and it has stayed put for over 6 months so far with no issues.

Sturdy product with a very smooth surface for the sat nav. Fitted easily to the top of my dashboard the only moan I have is that the adhesion failed after an afternoon of sun. However my sat nav has a 6" screen, is a little heavier so smaller units may be ok.
