Seche Clear Base Coat Clear, 0.5 oz

Loved this polish. Such a treat when your nails need a gel break.

EDIT: JUST reordered. LOVE this base coat! My nails have never looked better. I always do my own nails, and it looks like I've had a professional manicure. For nails that are in their 60's :-), that's pretty good. THIS IS THE ONE POLISH I CAN'T DO WITHOUT! When I don't have time to do a full mani, I just add TWO coats of this. My nails look great and it adds a bit of a shine. My nails look natural....JUST BETTER! ______________________________________________________________ IF any changes, I will edit in a month or so to add CONS...for now, only pros. COVERS UP MINOR FLAWS - NOT sure how it does this as it's CLEAR, but it looks like I am actually wearing a light transparent nail polish rather than just the two tops coats of CLEAR. It's this SECHE BASE. BEST BASE I HAVE EVER USED. LONG-LASTING - I use two coats of the base and then just add two coats of top coat. I am currently using Revlon Extra Life No Chip Top Coat. That's what I had on hand. If I were scrubbing the bath tub with a gritty cleaner, I would wear gloves, but for things like washing dishes, most every day things, I do nothing to protect them and my manicure lasts really well. Looks natural....but BETTER! NON-YELLOWING - THIS is a biggie for me. I like to give my nails a breather from time to time and just buff them. They are very white looking and I want to keep them that way. So far, so good (Again, will UPDATE if this changes). PRICE - GEEZ, some base coats can be REALLY expensive. This one isn't, so that's a plus. INGREDIENTS - I like it isn't made with chemicals I don't want on my nails. CONSISTANCY - I HATE THICK, GLOPPY polish. I like this is thin and goes on smoothly. TIP for an easy natural "French" manicure - I rub the backs of the whites of my nail tips with a whitening toothpaste before I do a manicure and I also use a liquid or pencil WHITE eyeliner rubbed on the backs of my fingertips when my manicure is finished and just a bit of top coat on the backs. Looks very natural, very clean and it's SUPER easy. WELL, THAT'S IT FOR NOW. It's the end of May, in three or four months if I find something I DON'T LIKE, will update.

This is a wonderful base coat. Seche products are the best.

I’ve had trouble with my cuticles drying out and deeply splitting every cold weather season, and just one application of this oil before bed a day, and my cuticles never split last winter! It soaks in quickly and is not greasy feeling. Recommended.

Seche Vite Rebuild likes: the white tint looks like a manicure or shellac (pretty!), makes nails stronger but not too strong, doesn't burn or hurt, goes on easy, looks great and DOES strengthen nails. Would be most effective for peeling nails. Seche Vite Rebuild dislikes: instructions- paint nails, apply daily, remove weekly, and repeat, (that is a lot of work!), the nail polish doesn't stay on very long (I am really rough on my nails though!), and it seems that I am using more of this nail polish than other polishes. After two days, the nail polish seems to separate from my nail (peel off), which is possibly from chewing them or putting too much on, but might also be from the actual nail polish and it is something I dislike. Seche Vite vs. Quimica Alemana: To get extremely hard/strong nails, Quimica is the way to go. However, Quimica is more likely to "burn" my nails if I put too much on or my nail is too thin. It stays on forever, and sometimes even make my nails too hard. Some people are horrified at the thought of a formaldehyde containing nail polish. Studies have found formaldehyde to cause cancer, but it really does strengthen and improve nails, so that is a decision each person has to make for themselves. With that said, Quimica seems to have more of it because it is much easier to have sore nails from putting too much on but it works quicker and more effectively for strong nails. Seche's light white tint is gorgeous, and still works, but not as well (less formaldehyde?). I don't use fake nails, so for strengthening super soft nails, Seche may be the better option because Quimica is too strong. I love both of these products- they are my top 2 nail strengtheners, so you can't go wrong with either, but it really depends on what you are looking for in a polish.

My daughter has difficulty having nail polish from not peeling off her nails just a short time after doing her nails. We have tried so many different brands with limited to no success. Washing her hands or showering often resulted in entire nail loosing the polish in one piece. She has used this twice now with so much better results. She just went a week and still had polish on all her nails. This dries quickly and doesn't seem to affect the drying of the polish on top of it.

Love this product. I have really dry nails and cuticles and this just seems to nourish my nails and cuticles keeping them soft and healthy looking.

But the delivery in Riyadh was bad, arrived in the middle of the night and arrived very hot,delivery agent left it in the trunk of the car overnight in Riyadh summer heat, to transfer it to another delivery agent that works our t residential area.

Es la primera vez que lo compro pero quedé totalmente convencida funciona muy bien, es la mejor base que he tenido en toda la vida, no esta grumosa, seca rápido, ha protegido mis uñas del coloramiento amarillo y cuando aplico el esmalte el color ha durado aprox 6 días bien sin despostillarse ni caerse. Excelente producto
