Tiffen Filter KIT IS good basic kit for Digital Camera. Neutral Density is protective layer cover for camera lens. The Circular Polarizer is a must for any daylight outdoor sunny day shoots as it gets rid of glare. I am not a big fan of the thin ring on this version as compared to Tiffen’s other versions with larger outer ring…but it works. All filters conveniently provided in fabric foldover soft pouch that has room for filter addition. The filters seem to work ok, and I can't detect any color cast. They did come out of the box dirty with a bit of a film on them (hence the 4 stars). I assume this was leftover from manufacturing and comes off easy enough.

I'm ashamed to admit that I'd forgotten I bought filters for my 35mm lens but I rarely use the wide-angle in favor of my 50-400 mm Tamron on my Sony A7RIVa that I rushed to take a shot out the window to see what the ND filter would do in a bright afternoon sun. Helped!

A great addition to my camera bag. I was so glad I had them this summer for travel and sport pic's. Good solid filters, threading are smooth and substantial enough that putting them on and taking them off in a hurry. I was not concerned at striping them as I was with a different brand, Tiffen are durable a good investment! I would recommend this set for anyone starting out in photography, digital essentials is a good name for it.

I am a new DSLR Amateur Photog, I needed some filters for my Nikon. Since I plan to upgrade my cam within a year or so I did not want to invest heavily in lens filters that I might have to replace when I get a new camera. These filters work great, I noticed no color cast or distortion from the filters. I think it was a smart purchase compared to buying the really expensive high end versions.

I didn't have a chance to use these filters with a really good lens. I used it with my Nikkor 70-300 lens which I bought only because it was cheap and it is cheap quality wise. As for this filter kit,it's very usable, convinient bag with slots for every filter. I actually marked the slots with a black marker so the filters are easily identified.

great kit, thoughtful selection of filters (for somebody who might have just bought a lens), nice pouch, name brand. Good bet if you don't know what else to do... but you know you ought to do something.

I managed to get this kit for ONLY $15 here on Amazon. So, that was a fantastic price for this brand. My only beef is that all 3 filter lens come in a soft pouch without much protection... SO the filters needed a little cleaning before using. You may want to get a hard case for these... I don't trust the soft pouch included. Overall, for the quality, brand and price this is a fantastic buy!
