Great for on-the-go studying
These are very handy to have while studying for the MCAT, though they should not be used as a primary guide. The material covered is pretty straightforward and easy to look at. I mostly used these flashcards to study during a long commute by bus or while traveling places. The flashcards themselves are pretty thin and easy to fold, but I like the metal loop ring that comes with the pack to be able to pick and choose which cards to take with you. Overall I don't think the quality is bad. This is a great study source for REVIEWING material while on the go. I would not recommend it for intensive studying or as a primary guide.

It works
Bought these for my SO who is studying for the MCAT. He has used them a few times and say they are a nice tool in addition with a few other books.

You should buy them because they're great
I'm taking the MCAT next month, and these flashcards have been wonderful in helping me prepare so far. I like to carry around one subject at a time so I can study whenever I get a few extra minutes between jobs, while stuck in traffic jams, when whatever's on tv gets boring, while I down my 4th coffee of the day, stuff like that. There's a lot of information on each card, but given the level of detail found in MCAT questions, I think it's a fair amount for each topic. These definitely shouldn't be your primary/only study tool for the exam (TAKE AS MANY PRACTICE TESTS AS YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON), but they are incredibly helpful for review in between practice questions.***UPDATE (AUGUST 2013): Use of these flashcards helped me get a 34. I cannot recommend them enough. That is all.***

Succinct yet complete*
The asterisk is because you can never have a complete system for the MCAT. Everyone is different and has different needs for this exam, hence what is complete to you may not be to so to others. Cards are well made for long term use if you treat them with some care. You get only one ring to clip on about a third of these cards, but the box serves as a good carrying case. The information is very helpful but again may not be as complete as you would like. Do not use this ( and the maker tells you this as well) as the sole source of study.

Good flashcards
Pro's:- Often include visuals- Thorough- Concise- the cards are made on a good, firm materialCon's:- Often they do not read like flash cards; there is a vague word on one side (i.e. enzyme inhibition) and then a ton of information on the other side- there are no flash cards for physics formulas, just 3 cards with a ton of formulas on one side- you can't highlight the cards, although you can annotate in pen or pencil.- contains errors. I have only reviewed the Ochem cards, and I have noticed that they often refer to alpha carbons as beta carbons. Also has other occassional errors like mixing up a proton and an alkyl group.Overall, these are good flashcards and I would buy them again.

Pretty concise review and good for pointing out weak areas
I bought these flash cards on a whim for my MCAT prep and I like it! Each card is brief, but hits the important points you need to review for a particular subject. Like any MCAT resource, it's not meant to be exhaustive, but I think it is good for clearly pointing out the areas in which you may be a little weaker, which I find helpful as a non-traditional student. It was cheap, so why not?

Overall great product
This product is great. The ring that comes with it won't fit all of the cards at once, but it comes in really handy to carry around for studying on the go. I wish the cards included more pictures and diagrams, but that's just my personal preference. Other than that, this is a great product and it includes basically all MCAT subjects! Don't rely on just these for your studying though; my suggestion is to take practice exams online...but these help to remind you of important formulas and concepts.

These are compact and easy to use when I go for walks
These are compact and easy to use when I go for walks. The only problem is that a lot of cards are either too basic, or cover something difficult with too little information. Both of these are likely just because the authors are trying to put info onto a card.

Three Stars
These flash cards are not questions and and answers. They are point form notes about each topic.
