I love this tent
I have had this tent for almost a year now and have used it multiple times so I think I can give an accurate review on it. The TL:DR is I love this tent, and if you are thinking of a truck bed setup like this, this tent is awesome! Being up off the ground surrounded by the truck bed gives an extra sense of security and there is plenty of room inside. Setup: Reviews here mentioned setting it up on the ground vs while it is in the truck bed and having done both methods, I agree setting it up on the ground then lifting it into the truck bed is the way to go. It is especially helpful with another person to help get it into place. The actual setup of the tent is typical, and if you are used to setting up a tent this is similar. It takes about 5 minutes now to get it popped up and into the truck bed, first time is a little frustrating when you don't fully know how it works. I am in a 2005 Nissan Titan and it fits perfectly. Durability: so far this tent has held up just fine with multiple setup and take downs, no visible damage yet, and it survived some very strong winds during a bit of a storm. With the rain fly on it stays perfectly dry inside and not being on the ground when it rains is very nice. Zippers are all holding up fine. I also found out that it can hold up to moving the truck under 20mph recently when a Bear decided to crash our campsite, my Wife and Son inside reported that it was solid during the short ride we took. Inside/comfort: The tent gives a really cozy feeling in your truck bed and even though its just the size of your truck, it feels plenty spacious and sleeps my Wife, Son and I comfortably. There is plenty of headroom and the way it hangs over the sides of the bed make it like a shelf on each side where I like to put my phone/keys/wallet etc... We originally were using a queen size air mattress and while it fit well, the comfort was a bit lacking (probably due to the low quality mattressI was using) I built a modular wood platform that we then put some foam mattress toppers on it that has really made a huge difference, more comfortable, and more stable than an air mattress. Conclusion: We love this tent and have not regretted it one bit, you feel more secure in your truck bed than on the ground. Setup/takedown is standard for most tents, nothing tricky once you get the hang of it, and it fits in its bag easily enough. I would definitely buy it again if something were to happen to it.

Fits 04' GMC Sierra 2500HD, GREAT!
This tent is awesome! It worked great for my husband last year and a friend borrowed it and is now purchasing one as well. Great quality and fairly easy to assemble. We have an 04' GMC Sierra 2500HD. This tent is very cozy, windproof. We havent used it in rain yet. But im guessing with the quality, itll be plenty waterproof too.

When the Ground is Just Too Scary
Short Version: -Solid construction, easy to setup, surprisingly spacious Long Version: -It took me awhile to set it up a first (probably 30ish minutes) since I did not know what I was doing and I was alone. However once you get the hang of it it can go up quickly, particularly with another set of hands. I got this for my 2019 Colorado with the longer bed and it fits perfectly. I haven't taken it on a trip yet but I set it up outside and left it up a couple nights with no signs of moisture getting in and no damage from strong winds. I particularly love the rain fly on this. You just throw it over the tent and it buckles into set points around the tent. It allows it to be taken easily on and off which is great since it covers the windows and reduces the air flow if you have it on. It was very spacious on the 6 ft (plus tailgate) bed. Buy the size tent for the size of the bed, NOT the size of the bed + the tailgate. They already factored that in for you. I imagine on a large full size bed the tent would be huge. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase so far. I'll be going on a multi-day camping trip soon and I'll see how the tent holds up. If some flaw in the tent presents itself, I'll be sure to update this review. But if you see this and it still has 5 stars, then the tent is doing well!

6-6.3" Compact Almost Perfect for 4x8 Trailer
(Pictured without the fly installed.) I am happy overall with the quality of what I got, but have three relatively minor gripes that would be easy for the manufacturer to improve: 1) One of the rubber end bumpers immediately fell off of the poles when I took it down the first time. No big deal to just glue back on - if you don't lose it first. 2) Zipper quality is good enough now, but it is light duty plastic and will likely not take much abuse. 3) The entry flap rolling down instead of to the side means I will always be walking or tripping over it to some degree. For my trailer, that means it will end up in the dirt a lot. The flap issue is likely less of one when setup in an actual pickup and kept off the ground, but having to go over it to get in and out every time could be problematic. It does stow nicely when rolled up at the bottom however. That aside, the tent is relatively easy to setup and fits mostly within the confines of my trailer. The only fitment issue for it is where there would normally be a tailgate. The side rails of my trailer restrict how wide the door support poles can spread the tent, so it's a little wonky there, but the zipper still has a nice easy pull regardless. I would likely buy again unless I find something better.

Wonderful Truck Tent!
After comparing many many truck tents, I decided to go with this tent. It appears to be an upgraded model of the the Backroadz series tent. This fits a 2019 F150 Crew Cab Bed Perfectly (Full Size Short Bed). Installation with 2 people took less than 1/2 hour and about the same to take down. The bag the tent came in is well made with the instructions sewn in (english and french) so you don’t loose them. There is extra room to put a couple of extra items, like sealant or tape. The poles and the pockets the poles fit into are color coded which makes installation simple. Adding the rainfly after the tent is already up, was also a breeze. The tent itself is very well made, the tent floor feels like a high end tarp material and the tent itself is made out of nylon. There are 2 windows that are mesh, which both can be zipped up for full privacy. When the storm flaps are down, a nice breeze can go through the tent. The door can also be zipped up with just mesh, or fully zipped. There is also a small air vent at the top of the tent near the backside of the gear loft. After the tent was up, we put on the rainfly on which installed in less than 5 minutes. Also very easy installation. Sewn into the tent on 2 sides are gear pockets, large enough to fit your keys/phone or other small items. The hook at the top can hold a lantern or a small camping fan. We did not experience any issues with the fiberglass poles, but time will tell. Pros: Easy Installation Well Made Lots of Airflow Good Privacy Gear Pockets on side Protective covering on metal parts not to scratch your vehicle. Cons: Even with all the airflow, still is a bit warm inside Gear Loft could have been a bit larger.

Fits 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid
I bought this to camp out of the back of my 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid. It's pretty easy to set up. The straps are a little difficult to wrap under the tailgate unless you have long arms (I'm 6ft tall) but other than that it's pretty straight forward. One of the clips to the left of the bed didn't really have any metal to attach to so I just clipped it under the wheel well and it worked fine. It's pretty perfect for this truck and much better than the official Maverick tent. More affordable, to boot. I haven't used it in more than a drizzle of rain so I'll see if water pools up in the bed. It might be wise to bring a tarp to stretch over the tent and cabin roof to keep water from rolling off the hood and into the bed between the tent and cabin (or maybe some sort of diy gutter system). Be aware of the wind, it's not fireproof. I parked too close to our fire pit and a small ember on the wind burned a tiny hole in the tent wall. The vents and double mesh/solid entryway are great. It only had a pouch on one side unlike the photos with two but that wasn't an issue. All in all it's a great value and perfect for any Maverick owner who's wanting to go out and enjoy nature.

This is a great tent! Well built and worth the money!
This tent is exactly what I expected. It fits perfectly and is well-made. The quality is actually more than I expected. It doesn’t feel cheaply made, and I honestly believe it will hold up well in storms. The packaging is well above average. The instructions are clear and easy to read in my opinion. Inside has a lot more room than I expected. I can stand on my knees and reach my arms full fully before touching the top and I am 6’4” all of the zippers feel well made, and the buckles are more than enough. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for truck camping!

High quality and stands up to high winds
I bought this tent 3 years ago for a camping trip that was forecast to get some heavy weather that I didn't want to be sleeping on the ground for. It has met and exceeded all my expectations. The first trip with it, it held up with no issues to 55 mph wind gusts, with the truck turned into the wind, with no leaking rain. It is also well ventilated even with the fly on so I've never had condensation issues. It is easy to set up, it takes me about 10 minutes solo from taking the tent out of the bag to having it set up with the rain fly on. I'm 6'3" tall, so I can't quite stand up straight, but it's better than any ground tent. Two things I would improve upon if I could: The door should have the "hinge" on the side, not along the bottom, so I don't have to step or sit on the door when I'm getting in and out of the tent. I also would have liked if the rain fly extended out over the door.
