I was looking for a respectable but not budget-breaking butter dish for a lunch party (to replace my serviceable but boring stainless steel one) and was delighted when this arrived. It's very robust, but also attractive enough to use as a pot on your dressing table. If I have a tiny quibble with it, it's that it's VERY big ... much bigger than I was expecting ... and a standard 250g (1/2lb) of butter looks a tiny bit lost in it: but I forgive it, simply because it's such a lovely thing. Recommended.

I was looking for a butter dish where it has a Handle so that the lid will not slip if your hands are wet or greasy. This one is very pretty, nice and sturdy. It arrived next day after ordering, very well packaged. It can go into the dishwasher and microwave. Pretty addition on my new kitchen worktop. I’m very happy with it.

It's beautiful.

The lid, (which is not a perfect fit) gets a bit messy easily, and, ( I live in Ireland) it does not quite fit our 1 lb pack of butter. But compared to similar products, it was reasonably priced

Ceramic, sturdy, stylish

Quick delivery. Lovely butter dish that takes a 500grm block, not deep enough for a tub though. Very pretty William Morris pattern that the photo does not do justice to. Would recommend and am looking for other items with this pattern.

Better than using just for butter! Have it on the marble window large above my sink for decor and color! It is really a substantial piece and so unusual. It looks like a mini casserole dish! I love looking at it while I am busy in the kitchen. Trying to infuse the kitchen with some Craftsman touches and this fits the bill!

Die Dose selber ist einfach ein wunderschöner Hingucker. Endlich kein Buttermassacker mehr in der herkömmlichen butterdose. Ein handelsübliches butterstück passt gut rein. Die Dose ist robust und gut verarbeitet. Der Verkäufer ist super. Meine erste Dose kam nicht an, auf meine Nachfrage hat er sofort eine neue Dose versandt und diese hat mich auch erreicht. Das ganze war mit zwei Mails erledigt, ohne Probleme und völlig unkompliziert. Absolut zu empfehlen!
