AWESOME pneumatic drill!
After purchasing and using their 1/2" right angle impact wrench, I was so impressed that I ordered this drill- and I couldn't be happier! They're SO well-engineered, and well-built, they're obviously made to last. And last. And last. Unless I'm just making a few little piddly holes in something, any more, I don't bother to use the DeWalt cordless drill. Though the DeWalt is a good drill, don't get me wrong. But this pneumatic Jet drill is a serious tool. If you have a lot of holes to make, or you need the torque for large, deep holes- THIS is what you need. It won't overheat like an electric drill, and the battery isn't going to die on you mid-hole, or partway through the job (think: building a house, deck, wooden fence, wooden dog house, shed or barn, etc.). I use my pneumatic tools on a portable nitrogen tank, though any source of pressurized air will work (compressor, etc.). You just can't go wrong with Jet tools, ot this drill!

Drills holes!
Nice drill. I have used it quite a bit and have had no issues. It has nice power and good speed. The removable and adjustable handle helps keep you steady in some positions.

Very good drill
i shopped around for a while for an air powered drill that was good quality but didn't break the bank. This was the answer. For an air drill it isn't crazy noisy like some of the cheaper ones. As expected it requires a decent amount of air volume. My biggest complaint is that it isn't very powerful. It is fine with 1/2 inch or smaller bits. It could use a bit more power. That does make it safe. It isn't likely to try to break your arm off while drilling.

Bad a$$ drill.....
You get what you pay for. Full warranty, and the power is there! I was just going to keep buying the harbor freights but now I am glad I got this one!!!! If you are going threw frame or thick metal I recommend using the side handle cause if the bits bites the metal this thing will kick a little..... BUY IT No worries here. I always use good pneumatic oil on the daily also. Hasn't lost a beat yet and I upfit trucks and drill into frame all the time.

This drill is tha shiznit!
Always had a Chicago pneumatic but thought I would try something new. This drill is fantastic. I use it everyday to drill truck frames because my boss is to cheap to buy a mag drill. It’s composite body is way lighter and it’s got lots of torque. Plus the handle can be moved easily and efficiently. It was about half the price of a cp heavy duty reversible drill. And I have recommended this drill to all my friends at work.

Not good enough for shop use
Owned this drill for a year. I'm always very careful with my tools, but this drill got bumped off a table and fell 28" to the floor, resulting in the spindle getting bent. Parts to fix it will cost nearly as much as I paid for the drill (new spindle, new pins for the planetary gears because of course they are pressed in and can't be pulled, plus the ridiculous shipping fee from the manufacturer). In my opinion, that shouldn't happen with such a small fall. I don't think I'll buy any more Jet tools. Replacement parts shouldn't be so expensive!
