This dress is so beautiful and such a good value that I bought it 20 times. The value is outstanding. For the price of a Starbucks latte I can wear a fresh brand new one any time I have a meeting and want leave a good impression. It's comfortable enough to wear all the time; I can do everything from working to sleeping in this dress without any discomfort or distraction. I haven't needed to do anything special to care for this item, so for me I'd say it lasts about five laundry cycles before it starts to look worn out. I wish this exact dress could be available at a higher price with more expensive natural materials like cotton. I do like the spandex component, since it allows the dress slip on easily and conform to my body shape without the need for tailoring.

This dress is just as pictured.The dress is constructed very good. It is a high waisted style and the waist band is snug around the body depending on the size you purchased. I am 5’5” and 155 pounds. I ordered a size large because it runs small. Usually I would’ve ordered a medium.

Fit: Fits as expected, for the most part. I'm 5'4" and pear shaped, with a long torso. I bought the size indicated by the size chart and it fits. The top is a bit loose on me, but the girls are contained. I think if I were a cup size bigger, it would fit perfectly. Since I'm a bit on the shorter side and have short legs, the skirt hits me below the knee, but not quite to mid-calf. Waist fits nearly perfectly, but with a long torso, the waist also hits me above my natural waist so it's more of an empire waist. Fabric: Like others have said, it's more like a nicer t-shirt material. There's a bit of stretch, which is nice, but not too much. The print looks nice now, but I have concerns about how much it will fade after a few washes. It does not let go of wrinkles easily, but washes well (I washed and line dried when I got it and it still had a few minor wrinkles from the packaging even after washing/drying). Pockets: Yes, please. Love me a dress with pockets. I have a larger phone, and it fits fine inside my pockets. I wouldn't put too much in my pockets because then I'd start to look a little wide across my hips, but the pockets are great for phone, lipstick, keys or as a place to put my hands when standing around awkwardly at a public event. Styling: I gotta say, I don't love the sleeves on this dress. I feel like they are not flattering and make my arms look much more like lunch lady arms than even a sleeveless dress might. However, topping this dress off with a jean jacket is a great look. Overall: I bought this dress for a graduation and ended up not wearing it because it just looked only okay. I will wear it to work, however. It's fine for casual office days (not important meetings). I like it enough to not return it, but am not completely wowed by it.

I bought this dress for a graduation and was not disappointed! It was classy enough, great color options, fit well and felt like a nice quality material! I highly recommend for an event where you need to be comfortable all day! Pros: -the color was perfect and just as described - loved the weight of the fabric … heavy enough yet still breathable - comfortable for all-day event - washed once so far and came out looking just fine - length was great for a taller person (I’m 5’7”) so it might be a tad long for someone shorter - value was perfect and arrived very fast - looked great with a denim jacket (if worn in cooler weather) Cons: - could be a bit long on someone shorter With all the colors to choose from, you’ll likely find a winner if you’re looking for a classic spring casual dress.

Yes, it's me again talking about my favorite "Fit and Flare" style dresses. This F&F dress has a little different style than my others, and I love it. It mentions in the details that it could be used for like a party dress...and it could. But I found it suitable and proper for a funeral I attended. The dress is black and understated...respectful. I've noticed some very "Flashy" attire and call me old fashioned (Yet I've felt this way for many years) but it really seems disrespectful. On the other hand, this dress would be perfect for a job interview, a dinner out, church, etc. I don't want anyone to get the impression that this is a "boring dress". I can't wait to wear it again. It's flowy and fun, summerish. Ladies, you simply MUST check out Amazon clothes. I have so many now, including tops and blouses. (They also have dresses that aren't the Fit and Flare that I love so much...lots of other styles) I just love the fact that I can simply pick a dress in my size, order and have my dress in a couple of days. The sizes so far have been consistent in these dresses as well as the tops and blouses. (I just KNOW Amazon felt my angst and frustration so they designed these clothes for ME!) The prices are incredible and I won't pay $100.00 or more for a SIMPLE dress at an expensive department store again..as long as the quality and price of Amazon clothes keeps offering clothes like I've been buying. My mother in law's funeral was a couple of years ago and I wanted a nice dress to wear while seeing all the relatives from out of state and those I haven't seen in a while. The only one I could find was an ugly navy blue dress that did not make me happy....and yes, that was before my discovery of Amazon dresses and yes it was a top notch brand and yes it was so expensive. The fabric is a little see through. When you hold it up to the light, you can see through the fabric. I will need to wear a slip or layer beneath. The dress came with a slight smell when I took it out of the plastic bag. Not an odor, but a factory musty type smell. I would buy it again if the fabric was more durable. Dress fits well and has adjustable elastic at waste and nice amount of gathering for bottom skirt. Handwashed in cold water with delicate detergent and the water was clear, the dye seemed to be colorfast and not fade. I hung it to dry and it didn't shrink. Update (April 28). The dress has been worn and hand washed twice. When wearing I needed to use a safety pin to secure v-neck, as it was just a little low for me. The dress was very comfortable to wear and the fabric flowed. I have hand washed this dress twice now, using cold water, and delicate detergent. The dress is navy. It did not have discoloration of dye in the water. The dress doesn't seem to fade. I hung the dress to dry in natural air. The fabric after wearing one time has small frays as though it had been put through a dryer or roughed up on something. The only thing I can think of is sitting on a textured fabric sofa, and needed to scoot over. The roughed up area is on back of dress. After the second wash, the fabric appears a little tired. Still a good value and pretty dress.
