I have 4 month old puppies, Belgian Malinois and a LabraBull. They’re too small for prong collars. They also battle every second, with one grabbing the other by this collar constantly and you would never know by any wear. They’re very durable and effective. We have deer and the dogs go insane when walking the property and I would be dead if I didn’t have these on them. No one has slipped out, they’re adjustable. I like how they look. Easy on and off. Honestly, if these keep working, I will never use prongs again. Very happy with these.

Seems like a good, sturdy collar. They just run big so be aware of that. The measurements are for the collar in the tightest position, so make sure you add 3-4” to that before comparing it to the actual size of your dogs neck. My dog has a 14-15” neck, and the small fit her well.

I’ve literally only had it a few hours, but I was anxious to try it soo we went for a walk right away. I was super nervous about the size after reading all the reviews. I DID SIZE DOWN to a small. My 8 month old golden retriever has a size 14” measurement. So I should have had to buy the medium, the small is perfect. It looked too small so first glance but it fits her well. I had it untightened the full way. And as you can see there’s still room on the small to put my fingers underneath. My dog is crazy strong and nothing seems to faze her. I’ve tried slip lead and e collar. She puts too much pressure on me when we walk so hopefully this will be the last equipment I need to buy. I’ll update if it produces positive results. I follow professional dog trainers for instruction on how to use it.

Now granted, I ordered one of the small sizes, and my dog weighs 13 lbs, but this level of stiffness might be okay for a big doggo, but for the littler ones they ought to use a different material. There's a size or two smaller than this one. Can't imagine! We have another Martingale collar with a portion of metal, but the metal was not high quality and after awhile, his neck had a greyish blue stain... I was looking for a simple collar that was easy to slip over his head when we put him outside to do his business, and that would ride loose when not needed. This thing won't see much use for being so stiff and bulky. He has a nice harness for going for walks. Guess we'll have to still search for a comfortable loose everyday collar...

Built well and works a a sincher. Stays in place well. Using with a stubborn french bulldog puppy and its comfortable for him and works great for my walks.
