This tear-free formula is clinically tested to be hypoallergenic, and is Dermatologist and allergy tested, so it's gentle enough even for newborns. Review: Good product, great value! - Smells great! Cleans well. My son with sensitive skin had no irritation from this. Will be buying again! Review: Cloying Scent, Secure Closure for Travel, Average Suds, Nondrying - I did not like the scent of this wash, it was Kind of a poor mans version of a higher national brand and it turns out too sweet and cloying. The texture of it was very nice however and it didn't dry my skin out at all. I wish it had a pump dispersal so it would be more hands free to use. The suds were average. Even at a generous 15 ounces the bottle felt lightweight and the screw and snap close top is secure enough for travel.

This lathered well and rinsed clean. My kids didn't put up much of a fuss during bath time so I assume it is really tear free. I wasn't a fan of the smell though and wouldn't use it again just based on that. It just has a strange odor that bugged me. Almost medicinal.

Reasonable alternative to J&J
I've been using baby shampoo periodically since a travel snafu meant that it was all I had to work with and my (long) hair likes the result. I don't like it enough to do every day, but suspect that it cleans away some residues from other shampoos. Anyway, I'm a grownup, and have been getting J&J baby shampoo/wash (head-to-toe), and was interested to try out the Mountain Falls product as a possible alternative. The first few ingredients are the same, and after that, there's some differences, but my eyes start glossing over at the chemical names. Some comparisons: 1. I like the smell of the J&J much better; the Mountain Falls has a bit of a chemical smell 2. I like the texture of the MF better -- it's substantial whereas the J&J is sort of runny 3. As an adult with an oily complexion/scalp (and long hair), I need a fair amount of either product to actually clean my hair 4. Current pricing: The MF is $2.88 for 15oz.; the J&J is $5.92 for 28oz (and less with Subscribe and Save)... depending on how tightly you squeeze your pennies, these could be considered "comparably priced". 5. The J&J that I get has a pump top, which doesn't actually work well for me (e.g. the bottle slips around when I'm trying to pump, so I need two hands). I like the MF top dispenser better. Overall, I'd say there are some pros and cons of each product, and neither is perfect.

Very gentle to sensitive skin. Odd scent, to my nose
I was looking for a one stop, hair and body wash for RVing. We try and travel light and everything serves a few purposes. This is very mild, cleans well and does not strip my hair. I have very sensitive skin and this is a winner along those lines, no rashes or reaction. My only criticism is the scent, this is not a fragrance free product and fragrance is listed as an ingredient. I found the scent oddly medicinal or industrial in nature. It isn't very strong but neither is it particularly pleasant. Even a light citrus would be preferable. It was puzzling to me what the intent was as it just is not appealing enough to have warranted inclusion. Might as well make it fragrance free in that case. Otherwise, it works just fine. Easy dispensing bottle.

Wonderful for the babies.

The fragrance strikes me a bit strong but this is a good whole body cleanser for babies.
This is a great whole body shampoo for babies. It's gentle, doesn't cause any irritation and is effective. The fragrance is fresh but I was surprised it was as strong as it is. The label compares it to Johns & Johnson's and I think that might be the better of the two. I've tried a number of the Mountain Falls products recently and most of them have been great more affordable options to some of the biggest name brands in the market.
