what would this mic plug into? special type of speaker?

I just purchased the SennheiserE835 Mic. It came with a 20 foot cable, with 3 prong male end and a 3 hole female end. I am not trained nor experienced with audio equipment so forgive me when I ask this, but...My mic will not fit into any plug on my "Acoustic" brand acoustic amp. Nor will it attach to my Crate acoustic amp. I understand that some other questions asked similar inquiries. Is there a special, "XLR-type" female to male adapter I need? Or, did I buy the wrong microphone for vocals? Or, do I have inappropriate amps for singing while playing acoustic/electric guitar music? Please, help. Thanks.

If you are referring to tom tom drums then I don't see why not.  They work really well for vocals both during performance and recording.

what is the diferance between a condenser an dynamic mic im looking to do live broadcasts?

Benedito C.'s answer is almost ideal, in that it explains that you'll get more bass and less ambient noise with a dynamic, but it doesn't mention that 48V phantom power can also be used to give dynamic mics a huge output boost via an inline preamp like a fet-head or Cloudlifter CL-1 (or just a good mixer or audio interface pre-amp).  He also talks about ambient noise being lost with a dynamic, but doesn't explain why that can be a great thing or a bad thing; if you are recording a whole room full of people speaking, you might want that ambient sound, but if you are in a bedroom, living room, or other less than ideal place and wish to only record a single singer, without catching every footstep or car engine for hundreds of feet, dynamic's ambience rejection can be a big help.  On the other hand, if you are recording sounds of a forest, be sure to use a condenser.  It's these real-world examples that I hope make it easy to understand how these differences will impact you.  If you have a studio covered in sound-proofing, you are much safer with a condenser than someone with hardwood floors who will end up dealing with echoes and sound reflections.  Lastly, you can make a dynamic sound similar to a condenser, and vice versa if you are good with an equalizer, but it's probably best to start with what you're looking for and not compensate with equalization, if at all possible.  Try a few mics out in a music store and see what you like, or search for shoot-out videos comparing an SM58 (dynamic) with a condenser, to get an idea of the difference in sound with song, singer, etc all the same.

An update to this question based on my experience with the Sennheiser E865 purchased here on Amazon: Mine had the original stamps and markings including the holographics, however Amazon marketplace is not an official distributor so Sennheiser will NOT honor warranty for products purchased through Amazon.
