Coffee ground logs
These are the best mfg fireplace logs. Light easy, burn four hours, no paraffin smell.

Fast lighting and great smelling
We use one of these logs as a base to get our wood log fire started and keep it going. They light easily and have a nice woody coffee smell.

Love these Java logs. Burn well and typically longer than stated. Nice for a recycle option of coffee grounds.

Very nice log, but it doesn't burn for 4 hours
I really like the Java log. But the description says it burns for "4 hours." Mine lasted about 45 minutes apiece. We went through an entire box (1 log after another) in about 3 hours. They burn hot and start easily, but the fire was more than $10 per hour. Also: Don't remove the paper, that's the fire started (the packaging doesn't say that, doh!) Also: They don't smell like coffee, which is okay, but a mild disappointment.

Works as described and maybe allergy friendly!
Clean, long burn. Fire going on 3 or 4 hours and not even halfway through, it seems! Usually we get stuffy and sneeze when we do fires, but so far 0 reaction. If your nose is sensitive to logs burning, you may do better with this like us!

Received a box of duds
I have used these in the past and they were wonderful the convenience easy effort to clean up the nearest smokeless, so I decided once I went through my original packaging that I bought several years ago I decided to re-order them from this seller on Amazon. I opened up the box used one of the logs. The first telltale sign was the log would not stay lit. I ended up using almost an entire two candle lighters, trying to get it to stay, lit, and finally did and burn through the next day, I decided to light another one same thing happened. It wouldn’t stay lit then I woke up the next morning, and my house was filled with smoke, and somehow this log from the night before relit, and it was producing tons of fumes and smoke all in my house . I don’t know if I would allow myself to use it again I was really disappointed as I ordered four boxes boxes of these they were really great the first few times I use them I don’t know if this is just a bad batch, but beware if it doesn’t stay lit right away and goes out toss them and return them.
