Good grab bar, I would purchase again.
Quality grab bar, six screws included in the package. I am an OT practitioner and recommend grab bars in the home very often. One issue I find with many grab bars is that when mounting horizontally (based on wall studs 16" on center framing construction) the consumer purchases bars that do not fit to the stud distance requiring toggle-style non-stud mounting anchor(s). Example being 42" grab bar. This particular grab bar will fit based on 16" distance between stud centers. Per the instruction sheet- "The patented Secure Mount design (of this particular grab bar) makes grab bar installation easier and more secure with an innovative design that features multiple slots for screws, allowing secure connection with three screws into the wood stud at any angle." As a general rule of thumb when installing a horizontally oriented grab bar for a specific person I use this floor to grab bar distancing method- I use wrist height. Have the person stand straight and relax their arms at their sides. The top of the grab bar should line up with the crease on the inside of the wrist, this should give a 15° +/- and at the elbow when grasping the bar. This is just a general rule of thumb that I use but may vary depending on use by multiple individuals, the posture of the individual or other physical characteristics. Hope this helps :)

Installation
These things are awesome! I am in a wheelchair and installing myself. 32 inch bars are stud to stud. I would recommend a stainless self tapping screw for metal studs. If going into tile I would recommend pro knowledge. Wood screws included 6 per bar. Not self tapping. Bars look good. Wife is happy. Screw diameter #10.

Great for bedroom 👍
Reviewed by account users female partner: I absolutely love this grab bar, and use it often. We have two of these installed next to and above our bed, and I use it during sex. One is horizontal, and installed just above the head of the bed, and the other is on the left side of the bed and is vertical. Great for grabbing, holding yourself up, or putting feet on. My children also use the one next to the bed to climb into the bed, because my bed is rather high for their little legs. In their world, that’s what these grab bars are for. Works for me! Bar has many uses. Can be spray painted to match any bedroom decor. Ours are painted burnt copper with Rustoleum metal bonding spray paint, and looks a bit hammered because of the spray paints finish. Spray paint will be tacky for a few weeks, so don’t install (or at least grab) it right away if you spray paint it. Once installed, touch up is difficult and stinky, for the bedroom.

Perfect 24" Grab Rail for Bathroom Shower
This is a great 24" grab rail for the bathroom shower. It is an attractive installation with the mounting screws concealed. Try to mount it 44" - 52" from the floor on the wall where you access the tub. Temporarily place a strip of masking tape on the wall at the height that may be comfortable for the user. Try to anchor one end of the bar into a wall stud using properly-sized screws. A 16" bar should be anchored on both ends into wall studs. Fancy load-bearing wall anchors are available, but toggle bolts or expansion screws are adequate. (The bar is not going to support your entire weight, but only to steady you while entering/exiting the tub/shower.) Towel bars are fine, but they will not support one's weight when needed. This installation is perfect for older folks or individuals with bad backs. The US CDC in Atlanta says: <The most hazardous activities for all ages are bathing, showering and getting out of the tub or shower.> The Grab Bar provides a perfect place to hang the bathmat when not in use.

No so good hardware
This is good and strong but comes with only screw to hold it in the wall. Good if you have two by fours. Not so good for drywall. Sixteen inch centers miss the bar unless you put it on a slant. Fine one with better hardware.

Strong, attractive, relatively easy to install
I installed this grab bar vertically next to a bath tub. The mounting brackets give you some flexibility with the location of your screws, so I was able to get two screws into the stud at the top and at the bottom. I added a hollow wall anchor (designed for use with grab bars) at the top and bottom, for a total of six fasteners. After reading other reviews I chose not to use the screws that came with the bar, but the screws I used were not much better. My advice is not to use Phillips-head screws for mounting this type of grab bar to a wood stud. Instead, use screws with Torx or square drive heads. Also, use masking tape to fasten the two decorative covers to the middle of the bar during installation so that they don't slide around making screeching noises while you're trying to work.

We found ourselves needing a railing for the bathroom earlier than we'd hoped. I'd seen ones like this before but didn't know which to pick. This one had good reviews and was Moen which I think is a good name. It was easy to install (6 screws), and feels really secure. (You can't second guess security when you're trusting it with your weight.) The finish is (obviously) different than the other fixtures in the bathroom, but the look quickly becomes unobtrusive and just seems to fit in quite suitably. Would recommend.

High quality grab bar. Capable of holding a lot of weight. Make sure you hit a stud and use stainless steel screws though. Pilot a small hole before driving a long screw. This stops the screw from breaking off before driven in all the way. You should know where you put blocking before tiling your shower and use a diamond dry bit on low speed to cut through the tile. The bit should be larger than the screw threading so you don’t break the screw while driving it into the stud. You can squirt some silicone into and over the screw heads to stop water from penetrating the framing and rotting out the stud.

Las cubiertas que cubren los tornillos de sujeción son muy delgadas. Y creo que las bases deberían tener un empaque o gascket.
