I needed some shelf brackets after the ones i purchased from B&Q just simply came away from the wall. After some filler and paint to fix up the holes i picked up these to try again with shelves also from B&Q. * The brackets come well packaged, there were no scratches or dings visible, are nice and solid and reasonably heavy. I seem to use the old adage heavy is durable a lot! * Its an unexpected touch but the brackets come with a set of wall anchors, because i had some issues with my B&Q brackets previously i decided to go with some Rawlplug hollow wall anchors as pictured for extra security. I couldnt comment on the anchors provided but the Rawlplug ones are spot on, M6 as per the provided ones, and as a tip you dont need the setting tool you can do just as well with a screw driver and some patience. *The brackets are straight on both angles so fit flush to wall. The strut supports just clip in and out very easily once youve mounted the shelf to give added support. *Because i have plasterboard walls i dont really have a great deal of confidence loading up shelves so i try to keep a max of 10kg on shelves like this, am fairly certain if you managed to anchor into the stud youd be fine with a much heavier load on these brackets, they really are solidly built. Overall am really pleased with these brackets, build quality is excellent, aesthetically they are pleasing on the eye, a doddle to install and at a much better price than comparable at B&Q, Screwfix etc.

Very strong bracket because of material used STAINLESS STEEL, thickness of metal HEAVY DUTY, and a good strong design, THE REMOVABLE STRUT makes it very strong. A little bit difficult to insert the strut after bracket is screwed in place but it can be done.

While it's understandable that no stainless steel is completely immune to rust, it would have been preferable to have a more robust anti-corrosion treatment for those of us looking to use these brackets in kitchens, bathrooms, or outdoor spaces. This limitation, while not impacting my personal use, might be a consideration for others in different climates or with different placement needs.

I am more than pleased with these shelf brackets, sturdy, simple lines but attractive enough to be used in the home. Mainly, I'm pleased with the fittings (screws etc) as they are appropriate for the job unlike a lot of items for wall mounting which supply screws and plugs which are of no use whatsoever. Well done the supplier for providing fittings which are appropriate.
