Girls' Classic Long Sleeve Leotard

My daughter REFUSED to take this (and her tights) off for her nap after her first dance class. She's at about the 97th% percentile height-wise and 50th percentile weight-wise so I thought it might be a bit snug, but she was very comfortable and was able to cause multiple levels of mischief. She's only 95% potty-trained so I was worried that a pull-up might be too uncomfortable or interfering but it worked out perfectly with pull-ups or underwear. My daughter's only three so this was more for fashion than form, but the quality is great and the sizing recommendations from other reviewers were very helpful.

We gave this leotard to our 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she wanted to wear it for 3 days in a row! It’s definitely all cotton, so comfortable , and the quality is excellent.

My daughter needed an undergarment for a theater performance, because her costume was fully sequined and itchy. This fit perfectly, and was thick enough to protect her arms, but not so thick that it was hot. She normally wears a 10, and I purchased the large in this. It fit well. She is a little smaller, so if your kiddo is a bigger 10, I would size up.

As others have mentioned, the fit on this is a bit off. After reading the other reviews, I bought my almost five year old average sized daughter an Intermediate 6-8. It's a bit baggy on her and the arms are too long making the overall look a bit messy, but the leg openings are comfortable for her and the waist does smooth out and seem to fit nicely so I am reluctant to go down a size. It's September now and I bought this for her dance class for the winter months ahead. I'm hoping she grows into it and it eventually fits her well overall rather than fitting in some areas and looking baggy in others. Fit aside, it does seem well made and I do like that the front is lined.

I ordered both the Capezio Long Sleeve Leotard and Low Rise Ankle Pant in Intermediate (6-8) for my 4 1/2 yr. old daughter, who is 43.5 in. tall (about 85th percentile) and 42 lbs. (about 75th percentile). (So, she's tall and has an average to slim build.) The sleeves on the leotard are a little long (just over her wrists) and the pants are just a little long as well, but both are wearable now and will probably fit for the next year or more. I washed both according to directions (cold, delicate cycle with like colors, line dry) and didn't notice any shrinkage. Both are made of a substantial weight fabric, and the pink leotard had a nude fabric lining in the front. My daughter wore both to her gymnastics class and was comfortable and happy in them. The black pants seem to pick up a lot of lint, but that's easy to remove with a sticky roller.

It's a bit tight. I stretched it out so my daughter would be more comfortable. It's for under her costume. The picture is misleading. I thought it had leggings.

The fabric is high quality and the fit is great. Very happy with the order!
