Sevin Insect Killer Granules 10 Pound

Got this to help with box elder bugs and anything else it kills, including ticks, ants, etc. It worked great. Felt it was safe around pets because it was the only thing allowed around the greyhounds at the dog track.. Still working after application last fall.

I got this because it said it kills bugs above and below ground. Last yr I lost 5 squash plant to squash beatles. After study, learned that they are in the ground and come out to lay eggs on leafs of squash. when hatched they eat the plants, so hopeing to kill them before they come up. Also the red and black ants are bad this year. I had a very large blk ant nest in back yard. By hand I sprinkled all over the nest. Ants went nuts.. 2 HRs later were gone. went out next day and they moved the nest 3' away but was only a 1/3 the size of 1rst. Did it and next day all gone and no new nests. I also have ants climbing my peach tree so put some around base. This stuff works great and easy to use. Still have 1/2 bag left but orderd another today. Don't want ta be out of it. U need to stop ants out doors. if they get in house are hard to stop and they eat wood. I do not intend on doing the hole yard, just kill them where they are at.

I was surprised when it arrived looked like this good grass seed with protective costing I bought before. It worked within a few days to remove aphids from my rhododendron's & slugs ect. I intend to buy again bc I hv some other nuisance bugs thst were there but gone since use. Just worried about birds & stray pets but I try to keep those areas blocked off till it's well mixed in soil. Put in some standing water from a pot that unaware no drainage holes. Put Sevin granular in drained water, made well needed draiage holes & flying pests ect gone. It is a 10 lb bag mime cme well packed no cuts or loose product. As I sd this is only "my experience" I will buy again soon. I read reviews previous unless I've bought b4 elsewhere & this is the only place to purchase something. There were excellent reviews only 2 or 3 people had accidental product damage in box. So I overlooked that & purchased. Very glad.

Very effective at killing insects, but I took off one star because it took a bit longer to see full results.

Not entirely sure if it's doing the job. I have carpenter ants from the neighbors tree invading my lawn in search for more wood. I spread this out and after 3 days... Nothing, 2 weeks later... Nothing. I had to call in a pest control guy to spray my perimeter before they make it into the house. There was also a possibility of army worms eating my grass as at the same time as my lawn was dying in spots, hopefully this stuff will at least conquer them? Maybe this stuff works on other bugs, but not for ants. Covers a huge area for the size of bag it is, maybe I can give it to one of my friends who have a bigger lawn.

I had a huge grasshopper problem. They were everywhere and eating all my plants! I used this and literally night and day of the grasshoppers disappearing. It was easy to use, product quality is great! I don’t have trillions of grasshoppers anymore. This doesn’t just kill grasshoppers it also gets ride of a lot of different buds that. An harm your grass/ shrubbery making it very versatile! Price value is affordable especially for how much you get. I used this for my front and backyard.
