P3 Ultimate Monopod

My wife has arthritic hands and they would get fatigued after only 30 rounds of 10/22 from holding the rear sand bag. This mono pod is the perfect solution for her. Now she can enjoy many hours and many rounds of fun out at the range. Super easy to install, very stable and simple to operate. Well made and just a fantastic product.

If you've ever bought a product, and later wondered how you ever got along without it, then you'll know how I feel about this monopod. It's well made and sturdy, attaches and detaches easily, and allows for very precise adjustments. With the optional AR rifle sling swivel stud it turns my bipod equiped AR light varmint rifle into a rock solid tripod. It works a LOT better than sandbags, and it's a LOT lighter too, while taking virtually no space in my range bag. To put it in technical terms, it's the bomb schnizzel. Get one - you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

Would of given 5 stars if the foot was a little softer, but otherwise, this is a great designed monopod. A softer for pad would of been nice for those hard surfaces, but it doesn't effect the ability of this monopod to do what it's designed to do. Solid construction, nice fine and rough adjustments. Quick and easy to use. Great product

There are other cheaper options for swivel stud mounted monopods, but the fit and finish, coupled with the quick, tool less, solid design was worth a few extra bucks for me. I’d definitely get another one if needed, but with the ease of installation and removal, and rapid elevation adjustments (also tool less) there’s no need for a second one, even if you’re taking 2+ rifles on range day.

If you read my previous review of this item please read this new one as well. Apparently the item was defective, but due to my own laziness I missed the return cutoff date. I contacted the manufacturer and he said to send it back to him and that he would fix it or replace it. Aside from the defective part, the unit is rock solid and easy to adjust. It has a simple, yet bomb-proof attachment to your rifle. Your rifle's sling attachment will fail long before the monopod does. Update: The improved monopod returned today from the manufacturer and it is far more stabile than the original version. CTK get's high marks not only for their great product, but for their 5-star customer service. Buy one today!

I own most of CTK's products. They are extremely well machined and sturdy. They put a lot of thought into their designs. The monopod is no exception. Mounts readily to any rifle with a rear swing swivel. Folded up it doesn't interfer; it's also quickly detachable (yet secure when mounted). It pops quickly when you want to use and is adjustable.

I used this with my Blaser R8 Professional Success. I read the instructions and watched several videos online before I took this to the range. Shooting from a bench I found it to be unstable. I was also using the Blaser bipod and I do have a fairly heavy scope mounted. I took it off and shouldered my rifle as normal and was much steadier. I might just need to practice more with it, but it seems fairly straightforward on how to use it. The build quality is good and appears it will last a long time. Its fairly easy to manipulate to adjust for elevation.

This is the second one that I have purchased. The first one still works, but isn't as easy to unhook as it was previously. It attaches easily to the swivel stud under an angled or sloping stock. I find it easy to operate and doesn't add too much additional height to the stock, which enhances weapon stability. It is an expensive item and if it were half the price my friends and I would buy many of these.
