ECOGARD XC35519 Cabin Air Filter Fits 2006-2025 Honda Ridgeline, 2019-2025 Passport, 2003-2017 Accord, 2007-2016 CR-V, 2006-2015 Civic, 2009-2022 Pilot, 2005-2017 Odyssey

I recently installed the ECOGARD XC35519 cabin air filter in my 2019 Honda Accord, and the experience was straightforward. The filter fit perfectly, and the installation process was quick—taking only about 10 minutes. Since the replacement, the cabin air feels noticeably fresher. While the filter doesn’t include activated carbon for odor removal, it effectively traps dust, pollen, and other airborne particles, enhancing overall air quality. Good product, easy to install, but make sure to locate the direction arrow for proper installation. This one didn't have a very clear arrow but figured it out quickly and the install was done in seconds. I recommend this product.

Watch the YouTube videos on how to do this and you'll find the change out is pretty easy. A few minutes tops once you understand the process. The only gotchas are releasing the arm that holds open the glove compartment door and making sure the filter orientation and air flow direction is correct. (the air flow direction text on the filter is upside down when installed correctly) This filter seem a bit flimsier than the original Honda filter but not that big a deal. It fits fine and is just a cabin filter after all so not too much critical going on here. A little more or less dust in the cabin is not a game changer. I prefer this over the heavier (thicker) than original filters also available on Amazon since they restrict air flow. This does not. Way cheaper than paying the dealer for the part and installing it. Or even paying a lot more for a similar filter at an auto parts store.

Comparable item dealers provide, but if you can DIY, you’ll save $40-50 bucks installation. Helpful hint, before installing, take a market and put the date and mileage of the end of the filter. Unless you drive a lot, the filters generally last a year.
