K&N Cold Air Intake System: High-Flow Air Filter, Increase Performance & Towing: Compatible with 2019-2024 RAM 1500, 63-1578

I love this thing. I installed it in less than 10 minutes. Previously, I tried a cheaper manufacture but it didn't fit so I returned it after trying to make it work for more than an hour. Right after installing it, I drove my truck and pulled a car hauler type trailer to pickup an industrial generator. The route was mountainous and my destination is about 7500 feet. I got 14.5 miles to the gallon and I don't drive slowly. I am not sure how much better my gas mileage is now but I am guessing around 2-3 mph better. The hemi sounds great! I highly recommend this product.

After doing some research and going through some forums, I decided to purchase this cold air intake kit. I’ve always ran K&N filters through my vehicles and never had any issues. K&N is a very reputable brand in my opinion. Americantrucks.com has a very good install video that I referenced when doing my install. I installed this cold air intake on my 2020 ram 1500 Rebel with the 5.7 Hemi. I watched the online video from americantrucks.com and was able to fully install my cold air intake on my truck in about 20 minutes. Overall, the quality looks very good, and I am very pleased with the install in the appearance upgrade of the truck. The induction sound into the engine is definitely improved and when you get on the gas, you can definitely hear a big difference. So far I’m very pleased with this kit.

This third one I have gotten for my trucks, I have had one on my 2005 Ram, one on my 2014 Ram, and now one on my 2020 Ram, I would recommend it for anyone, it looks great and the quality gets better and better each year. I have noticed a two to three miles per gallon gain on the mpg. If I ever need another one it will be a K&N.

I already have one on my 2014 RAM 1500 R/T so we got one for our second RAM. It's a 2023 RAM 1500 BigHorn 5.7L Hemi V8. The performance is much better with an increase in fuel efficiency of about 5mpg highway and 3mpg city. It fits perfectly but be sure to follow the directions as you need to take some pieces off the old system for this new one. Excellent value for the money and it sounds cool when you give it some gas! Filter lasts a long time between cleanings. Get the recharge kit from K&N for the cleaning solution and oil.

I purchased this for my 2020 Ram. Very easy installation. My gas mileage has not dropped or increased, nor is there a noticeable difference in hp gains, no real improved acceleration either. I bought it to see if when towing the travel trailer it helps the 5.7 hemi breath better but have yet to tow it since installing. I will update review once I have done so. I have had this same c.a.i. on my last three Rams. I loved how the unit on my previous Rams sounded under acceleration. Throaty all time. but this current Ram has an 8 speed transmission (previous trucks all had 5 speed transmissions) It seems like with the earlier shifting/lower revs on this truck you never really get the throaty sound unless you are getting on the highway and flat footing it till you get into the passing lane. Separately, when below freezing, the tone of the sound causes a strange vibration/droning sound in the cab. Sounds like it is coming from the cai itself. Anyways, meh.

Good feeling knowing I’ve got the best

Works great for my 2022 Ram Laramie, as far as performance I can't really tell a difference but it has a more aggressive sound to it. Took about 20 minutes to install.

I just finished installing this on my RAM 1500. To be honest, this cold air kits quality is horrible. I had installed the same system on my 2010 Ram 1500 back in 2014 and what a decline in quality compared to that kit. The holes for the screws to secure the adapter #454 were spaced too far apart which led to boring the original holes with a wider drill bit to get the screws started. The edge trim gasket was definitely the hardest part of the install. I had a lot of trouble bending it around the corners without the whole thing popping off of the air box. I'm still not satisfied with the way it is installed and am afraid it might pop off in transit some time. The intake tube (pictured) has a seam that is seperating and looks like it would cause an air leak. I slid a tooth pick into it to see if it went all of the way through and it seems like it is in fact sealed inside. Over all I'm disappointed with the quality. Now that it is installed it's doing what it's supposed to do.

It was delivered on time and in less than a week. Took me 30 mins with no mechanical experience and adds horsepower and a clean look.

Put on my 2019 ram , new style , the sound when yu tromp on it is amazing , yes mileage seems abit better when your not on it lol

Have installed this on other Ram's a few years older, and its pretty tuff. 2019 and 2020 Ram's are way easier and can easily be done in your driveway.
