This is a sturdy and well-made little machine. I like everything about it. I had some issues with a missing washer when I got the machine, because Amazon had carelessly thrown the machine into a box. I called the customer service number on the manual and was amazed at the good quality of the customer service. A rep answered the phone promptly, spoke perfect English, and was very helpful. He explained I could use the machine without the washer and ordered a replacement part for me. I'm astonished that any company still exists that produces a solid, sturdy, functional, affordable little machine like this one and with good customer service to boot. This is how things used to be in the 1960s! I'm happy with this little machine. It's compact, easy to store, well-made, and a pleasure to use. Very simple, very functional. The display that shows steps, time, and calories is clear and easy to read. Definitely a nice workout "snack".

We Love this thing! Even our kids use it. It started out in the great room off to the side out of the way, and gradually - over the course of about 4 weeks - it has made it's way over, 9 feet closer to the main living area. It gets used every day by one or more of us. There are four of us - Husband/wife/two teenage boys. Collectively we've stepped (both feet stepping once equals one on the counter) over 10,000 steps in just under 4 weeks. It is incredibly sturdy - very heavy. Even on thick pile carpet it stays put. We rarely use the arm bands...the cats like to play with those, hah. We are very happy with this mini stepper! Not likely something that will get old or wear out. An excellent buy! Update 8-14-18 I have now owned this little gem for over three years (purchased July 26, 2015). While the other three in this household had gotten bored with it and moved on to other things within the first few months - I still use it semi-regularly. It's back over to the side of the great room again (hahah), but still within easy reach when I want it. I might forget about it for a month or so when life get's busy, then use it 2 to 3 times a week for a couple of months, etc. I just passed my own 7th turnover about a week ago. It starts over after 9,999 steps, so my stepper has over 72K on it from my own use - this does not count what the boys did on it when they were in to it, as I wasn't keeping track of it then. I'd guess it has around 100k on it counting when they used it heavily during the first three or four months (when they were intentionally trying to get it to turn over 9,999 to 0 again). It is still as tight and perfect as it was when we got it new. I still don't use the bands (even the cats got bored with them). I'm not the most graceful girl, but with continued basic use - I can now read a kindle while stepping and not lose my balance. I have zero complaints about this stepper. Update 12-31-20 I am still using this thing! LOL! I am back up to using it daily in my "it's better than nothing" 5 minute workout routine (1 mile on the TunTuri, 50 steps per foot on this stepper, 15 squats, 15 pushups, 15 situps). I have only missed two days in the last year and a half on my long-loved stepper. The compact design is great for small spaces. It's stout - pick it up - it's got some serious weight to is. It doesn't move with use. Wherever you put it - it's going to stay put. I removed the hand tensioner bands. They were of no use to me. They're hanging on the wall behind it lol. "Art". I stopped counting on the counter (I think the battery is dead anyway :p ) but it still steps sure and strong with no lapse in tension. This is waaaay beyond what I expected from this inexpensive yet incredibly well built stepper. This July I will have had this for 6 years and still very happy with it!

Very good. Its portable enough to fit in small places and works good. You feel it through the whole body after a few seconds. A good buy.
