Marie Antoinette Paper Dolls (Dover Royal Paper Dolls)

The book is very beautiful. The Marie Antoinette doll and the dresses are perfect and well detailed. Unfortunately, a second after opening the envelope where the book was sent, I accidentally put it in the pile of envelopes to be thrown away, and I only realized it a few days later. I'm devastated that I only managed to look at the book and lose it seconds later. It's expensive for my current situation, and I won't be able to buy another one again, but I totally recommend it! I love paper dolls, Marie Antoinette and France history, so I’m utterly sad!!!

Beautiful, intricate, historically accurate designs. Fun to thumb through and the paper is heavy-duty enough that you can use them repeatedly if you choose to actually cut them out. Enough outfits to keep most people occupied. Fun for all ages!

Another genuine article from Mr. Tierney. Who would have thought Marie Antoinette could be a paper doll book. Well, Mr. Tierney sure did. The dresses are amazing. His attention to detail is impressive. This would be a good addition to anyone's paper doll collection.

Paper dolls are on the small size but I think it will work for my project. nice book, great packing.

Grown-up, little girls, can relive their childhood now, because paperdolls are again available. For many years they seemed to be obselete or, at best, very hard to find. These paperdolls are a little more sophisticated, and much more expensive, but they're very nice.

Tom Tierney does a great job with his books. He does the research for me when it comes to costume design for stage productions.

J'adore les dessins de Tom Tierney. je fais collection de ses livrets sur la mode et le costume. il a fait plusieurs fascicules sur les pionniers américains depuis ceux du Mayflower jusqu'à la révolution américaine du XVIIIeme siècle. Et il y a des livrets qui vont de l'antiquité (les égyptiens) jusqu'à nos jours, en passant par les costumes de danse du début du XXeme siècle, les Peres noëls à travers les âges et d'autres thèmes, Shakespeare par exemple ou certains contes de fées. Marie Antoinette : fashion victim avant d'être victime tout court.

Hat sich bewährt für unsere Projekttage an unserer Schule zum Thema Barock. Den Kindern machte es großen Spaß, die schönen Kleider auszuschneiden und Marie Antoinette immer wieder neu zu kleiden. Es gab uns einen guten Einblick in die Mode der damaligen Zeit. Sich neue Kleidung auszusuchen , mittels Papiermodelle, war eine ganz neue Erfahrung. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Mejor de lo esperado. El papel del libro es grueso y el tamaño del libro adecuado. Por el precio me esperaba un libro de más baja calidad. Muy recomendable, sobre todo por las ilustraciones.
