Delightful

I wanted to try Turkish Delight again after all these years. I am 32 years old and the last time I ate it, I was maybe 4 or 5. I could only vaguely recall what eating it was like, This was like stepping back into the past for me. I loved it! I remembered the jelly inside a little. This is very good--IF you are someone who likes jellies, gummies etc. It's like a sweet jelly that is very firm (you can see your teeth marks in it) that is coated in sweet milk chocolate. I only bought the 3-pack the first time, in case I wouldn't like it after all these years. I'm glad I ordered more.

Watch for delivery date as it is put in mailbox. Don’t want it to melt.

Loved these since I was a kid. Jelly candy coated in a thin layer of chocolate. Yum.

Blegh. It is to chocolate covered Turkish delight what Hershey's is to chocolate. Except Hershey's is still edible. Too soft, too sweet, just not good. What the Brits have against the Turks I don't know, but they didn't deserve association with this.

OK - I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these, b/c there's NO DESCRIPTION of the type of candy on the inside in the online photos! :( When I think of 'Turkish Delight', a jelly-type candy covered in a confectioners-type powder or sugar is what I expected - *Traditional* Turkish Delight! Not this chocolate covered DISASTER of a product! Not sure what the idea is here, but this is NOTHING like *REAL* Turkish delight! BUT, it got a lot of positive reviews (WHAAAT???), so I thought I'd take a gamble. SORRY I did, B/C YUCK!! I'm sorry, but these are GROSS. :'( Anyway, for EIGHT DOLLARS.... I expected better. I ended up contacting amazon c/s for a refund, they were THAT BAD. I never finished one of the 3 pieces. they wound up in the trash. If it had been like $3, or even $5, i would probably have just shrugged it off. but for eight dollars, to just almost vomit and toss in the trash,.... just NO. Anyway, 2 stars for quick delivery, and product fulfilment as promised. I understand that this could very well just be a 'palate preference', but i just couldn't with these. I want REAL Turkish Delight -- and These are NOT IT!

Don't buy when it's 90 degrees out. The chocolate was melted. I lover Fry's Turkish delight but I prefer it not to be melted.
