Marshall Stanmore II Wireless Bluetooth Powered Speaker (Black), 80 Watts

It's a beast. One of the best speakers. You never gonna regret on purchasing it. The sound quality, built quality, clarity and the simple design are upto the mark. The audio is very crystal clear. It's not expensive for its value. If one finds it expensive then save money for a while and then purchase it, instead of spending less money on other speakers. There's only and only one thing I feel missing in this, there should be a strap or handle bar to pick it. But still, go for it.

I first heard a Marshall speaker when I started living with a friend. He had the first generation Woburn, which is the top of line speaker from Marshall consumer devices. Needless to say, we all fell in love with it, and spent countless hours listening to music or watching the latest TV shows together. From that day, I had decided to get myself one of the Marshall speakers, and when I saw this one with no cost EMI in place, I just couldn't resist. The sound quality is divine. You can compare it easily with any standard Bose or Sony speaker in the same range, and of course, try listening to songs you have heard multiple times before. I am certain that there is at least one instrument in the song which you could not distinguish earlier, which will be as clear as freshwater when you use this device. There is no distortion even on the highest volume, and you cannot just use it at full volume anyways, lest you wanna damage your ears. This is a perfect setup for almost anything, be it a bedroom, TV cabinet, computer setup, or any other nook and corner of your home where you want to listen to some good effing music. Marshall is an iconic brand, and the fact that they started making consumer grade products after the professionals who used them for 50+ years started pestering them to make one, is quite an achievement in itself. Words cannot accurately describe the quality of sound this provides, and I think the price is totally justified. This can kick any 5.1ch HT system's ass, and just short of surround sound, there is nothing else you would want from a single unit this light and capable.

If you are looking for a good speaker for your living hall, look no further than this, it is insanely loud, music is clear and the bass is also great. A pleasant listening experience for sure. It looks really nice and goes really good with the home interior.

The reputation of Marshall speaks for itself. Looks : You got adore the retro look of this speaker. The much celebrated front mesh is iconic and equally sturdy . It is made to last long, I mean for years to come. This speaker deserves a good care. Just clean in once in a while and brush off any dust particles that settles in the control panel. It'd be a crime to leave this master piece dirty. Sound : Not gonna lie, you won't enjoy this speaker as much at lower volumes. Why buy a Marshall when you are shy listening to music out loud, right?! You just have to 'Crank IT UP!' The low end (Bass) shines when the volume is high, you'd feel the thump even on songs that you never imagined it had such bass to it. Even in low volumes, this speaker produces some crisp audio, especially when you connect your phone to listen to a good audio book, this speaker produces clean highs and mids. I have been using this speaker for about 10 months now, never ever had a slightest moment of regret spending this much money on a bluetooth speaker. This is an investment that lasts long when treated well.

Even though it doesn't have a battery, it's still the best Marshall speaker for a medium-sized room. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It has very good dxo mark rating ad well.. Don't expect too much bass from this speaker as that can be achieved only from a sub.

Lo Stanmore II è uno speaker formidabile, non mi sono messo a fare valutazioni strumentali come pare siano in grado di fare quelli che se ne intendono sul serio, ho usato le mie orecchie e la mia esperienza: il suono è avvolgente, potente e (secondo me) bassi, medi e alti sono sempre ben rappresentati, connettività completa di attacchi analogici, bluetooth pronto e immediato che non molla mai, estetica (per me) insuperabile e iconica. Mi è talmente piaciuto questo diffusore sonoro che ho deciso di comprarne un altro per creare un sistema stereo e qui arriva il "MA": Quello che non viene detto, se non spulciando le pagine di assistenza sul sito della casa madre, è che esistono tre SOTTO-MODELLI di questo speaker che non sono totalmente compatibili tra loro! Sull’etichetta posta dietro al dispositivo (E NON SULLA SCATOLA) è specificato il nome del sotto-modello che può essere:”STANMORE II” o “STANMORE II BT” o “STANMORE II BLUETOOTH”. Bisogna combinarli tra loro in modo che siano compatibili, in base all'immagine che allego alla recensione, altrimenti non si riuscirà, sempre usando l'app dedicata, a creare un sistema stereo bluetooth, ovvero a far suonare entrambe le casse contemporaneamente, una per il canale destro e una per il sinistro. Questo più o meno vale anche per altre combinazioni con altri modelli, bisogna controllare il nome scritto dietro. A me ne è arrivata una non compatibile con quella che avevo già, ho chiesto la sostituzione ad Amazon (prontamente ottenuta) e questa volta è arrivata quella giusta... a cu... hem, per fortuna. Ho scritto di questo alla Marshall, ma la risposta è stato lo schemino che allego alla recensione. Sono riuscito a fare quello che volevo, ma con un altro "MA", una volta collegate insieme col bluetooth, non si possono più usare gli altri ingressi (proprio non funziona il tastino), se non resettando entrambe le casse... In conclusione: Suono spettacolare Design splendido Utilizzo in singolo comodissimo e praticissimo Utilizzo in coppia abbinata... un disastro. Comunque se ne viene fuori, ma non è immediato. In ogni caso 5 stelle perché l'oggetto mi piace un sacco!

Remarquable sonorité. Mais ce n'est pas en sortant de l'emballage après une livraison matinale que l'enceinte donnera tout son potentiel. Le caisson était froid et les heures à la température ambiante avant le branchement au secteur ne seront qu'une première étape vers une progression significative de performance les heures suivantes. Il ne faut donc pas tirer de conclusion hâtive dès la première mise en service, car les haut parleurs de cette enceinte, comme toute enceinte neuve, ont besoin d'être sollicités durant un certain temps pour reproduire le son avec plus de réalisme et d'ampleur. Utilisation sans faille en Bluetooth et liaison filaire RCA, mais l'on note une réduction de dynamique avec un câblage Jack Jack à la prise correspondante. Le son manque de punch, les basses, à fond, sont moins accentuées et le réglage des aiguës à peine perceptible. Dans la mesure du possible il vaut mieux remplacer un cordon (Jack Jack) de faible section par un câble RCA Jack. Le son sera de meilleur qualité avec ce conducteur qui, dans un sens ou dans l'autre, se branche aux deux entrées de l'enceinte. Côté pratique, le levier marche arrêt n'a qu'une position fixe et non deux comme on pourrait le croire. Il bascule vers l'avant pour allumer ou éteindre l'enceinte et reprend sa place initiale. Dans les deux cas un bruit sourd se fait entendre dans le haut parleur grave. Chaque bouton de commande a son voyant lumineux, les potentiomètres de volume, grave et aiguës affichent leur état et la lumière de l'ensemble des touches s'atténue quelques secondes après la mise en marche. Le design vintage, la couleur ou la dépendance au secteur, l'un ou l'autre n'est peut pas celui recherché, mais la sonorité exceptionnelle de cette enceinte est indiscutablement une réussite inégalable dans cette catégorie. Ceci est également vrai en tenant compte du bon rapport qualité-prix, à moins de 243€.

received it really quick during the end of year christmas season. the audio quality for all music genres is awesome, esp for tracks with heavy bass. bluetooth sync to my phone was quick and instant. very pleased with it & recommended
