I bought this after a health check showed that my blood sugar level was through the roof. By using this I have managed to identify which foods were raising my levels above normal. The device is easy to use, and produces a reading very quickly. Good product at a low cost.

Bought this to keep an eye on my blood sugar levels and it's been great so far. Really easy to use, the instructions are straightforward and the readings come up quick. The lancing pen is surprisingly gentle, barely feel it on the finger. Comes with plenty of strips and lancets too. Good kit for the money.

First time using this. Very good, readings are clear and having the chart as reference is very helpful. If you're using this on a regular basis, it might work out a little dear. If you make a mistake with choosing the depth of the needle for pricking your finger, it would mean using up, more than one needle, at a time. I used the first setting, which wasn't deep enough, then tried the second didn't fetch enough blood so setting 3 was used but that was deep for me. It's hit and miss, until you find the right setting, for your skin type. Overall still happy with it and easy to use.

Very good - has everything you need. Lancets and test strips. Easy to use. All kept in a neat and handy little pouch, so you have everything you need to be able to test your blood glucose wherever you are. Would highly recommend.

Easy to use but first three attempts didn’t work, I discovered it needed a much larger blob of blood than I was producing for the test strip to work. Turns out I’m not T2 I’m back to prediabetes since I changed my diet. Since then I’ve found it to be quite hit and miss used quite a bit of strips. Did two tests within 60 seconds and got different results. But not too far apart. I will use once or twice a week now and hope the strips last.

Could you please test your glucose with the Safe Accu 2 twice within 30 minutes of fasting and give us the results? Please follow the instructions below. 1. Please make sure that the second drop of blood flows out and then starts to absorb and measure. (Wipe off the first drop of your blood). 2. Do not squeeze your fingers hard during testing. If there is not enough blood, do not squeeze your finger so as not to squeeze out the tissue fluid and affect the test result; instead, let the blood flow from the finger to the fingertip. Please let me know the result so that we can provide further support on this matter. We are well aware that the inaccuracy of the device is dangerous for our customers, we will urgently investigate the problem and try to rectify it as soon as possible. Anyone who is interested in self care, prevention and management of health issues would expect to be able to rely on the efficiency of products and devices sold to help them achieve their goal. This device miserably fails to provide accurate and consistent readings. As I became more and more suspicious of it's efficacy, I decided to carry out a simple test. I took two measurements from different hands, within 1 minute/ I did not move and I did not consume anything at all. One reading was 4.9 and the other was 10.6! This is completely unacceptable and I can think of absolutely no logical reason why it should and could happen. Previously I used an Accu-check Nano and it was brilliant and reliable. As the strips became more and more expensive I decided to change. I regret my decision.

After about 65 years of being able to eat what I want, my doctor's practice diagnosed me with having type 2 diabetes. As I was not exhibiting any of the usual signs of diabetes, and being a pain in the ar*se as far as medical matters are concerned - mainly as I was already trying to manage 2 diametrically opposite diets and the diabetes diet would have reduced my allowed foodstuffs to unleavened bread and water (a damaged pancreas and having had several heart attacks will do that to your dietary allowances so, I bought this unit to check my blood sugar levels independently. I used the unit twice a week over 6 months, including over Christmas 2024, and kept a record that showed that my blood sugar level never moved outside of the normal, healthy range during the entire period. I presented that record to my GP's practice, basically they shrugged and said that the figures that they'd used must have been outliers and removed me from the diabetes list. The unit is easy to use, it's intuitive and once you have the order of doing things off pat, it's very quick to complete a blood sugar reading. The unit saved me from having to needlessly follow a diet that would have been of no benefit to me and probably saved the public purse the cost of unneeded medications. Worth every penny.
