Women’s Prio Barefoot Athletic Sneaker

These shoes were exactly what we were looking for. They are well-built and align well with the barefoot living mentality. They are lightweight, comfortable, and true-to-size. We have purchased them twice, and we will buy them again after these ones are worn out!

Just so everybody knows, around 2018 the company adjusted their sizing. I recommend going a half size down from your usual size. The company says they are now true to size, but I find it is still just a tad large. I am a 7.5 normally but I got a 7 - at first they were snug and it seemed like they would be too small since my toes reached the edge of the shoe. But after walking around the house in them a whole day they fit perfectly. They were comfortable right away. I don't think they need any breaking in after a day of light use. I am used to barefoot shoes and cannot do the floppy beavertail clown shoes look and feel. Been there done that when first starting out. I need to depend on accurate footwork and wanted a barefoot shoe for parkour. I believe this is it. Also just wanted to say how comfortable these are. Plenty of ground feel and wide toe splay for days, but just enough cushion that you can do sports, hike, or walk in them all day on pavement. Update: I've been wearing these for a year and they're still in good shape. My go to shoe.

I am newly into a zero-drop shoe, the heel the same level as the ball of the foot. This is the second pair I’ve bought from Xero shoes. The first was a sandal, so I needed a closed toe for everything I wasn’t wearing the sandal to. I am sold on the design, to allow the foot to keep developing its muscles, and a wide toe bed to have a natural accommodation for the actual design of the foot. But these are not blob-ugly shoes. They look great; and I feel good about the way they are helping me keep my feet from worsening my bunions. I wore them a few hours at a time when first getting used to them, because they were developing muscles I hadn’t used for a while. Now I feel comfortable in them all day. For long hikes, I still keep the removable insole in; but for errands and normal stuff I take the insole out. I’m very impressed.

The color blue looks really cool and pretty. These are my first pair of a barefoot style shoes. I don’t have foot pain, so, for me these are quite comfortable. I appreciate the way my toes can spread comfortably in toe box even while wearing toe socks. The style is cute for very casual occasions. I’m gonna try to get used to the look of the boxyness from the instep to the ankle. 🤔 Takes getting used to. I’m a true ladies 7 1/2 m. That’s what size I ordered. My big toe barely misses the end of the shoe. Would be nice if I had another 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch. I’m unable to order an 8. Then the shoes Would be too bulky and I could trip while walking. I’ll be shopping for toe socks made with thinner fabric. Worth a try. Other than those two cons, I really like these shoes! So good to have shoes that don’t squish my toes!!! FYI: be patient with the arrival of your order. It took about a whole week. However, it’s worth the wait. Try them out ladies.

Maybe I should have ordered another size up, but out of the box these weren't as roomy as I expected them to be. Toe box isn't that spacious (or wearing barefoot shoes for a bit has caused an unusually large toe-spread). I'm a week in, and they've loosened up a bit and are more tolerable / comfortable. The laces are constantly coming undone, and honestly they feel better with super loose laces so I might replace those with something different. Not worth the price, but I'd worn them around too much to return with the try before you buy option.

I have had Xeros for years, but finally my wife decided to get these as her first pair. I was a bit anxious about size, but tried to use the suggested length to approximate which size we should get. I was amazed when we opened the box. It looked tiny compared to her brooks and another shoes. I didn’t think there was a chance they would fit. I WAS SURPRISED that they fit perfectly. Even without arch support, her comment after the first week was how much she felt her back was more aligned and legs felt great. She is an elementary music teacher and always on her feet … and she love them. She wore 9 in brooks, and loves 8 in Xeros.

I love these shoes. Helps with balance. I should have ordered an insert to make them comfortable.

Solid, comfortable and reliable barefoot sneakers. Oddly, the white laces that come with the sneakers are cream and the detailing on the shoes is white, which looks cheap and tacky. I replaced the laces, which is easy enough but seems unnecessary in a brand new shoe.

Das sind die bequemsten Schuhe die ich besitze. Ich trage jetzt seit ca einem 3/4 Barfußschuhe und habe auch schon einige namenhafte Marken ausprobiert. Das sind meine ersten Schuhe von Xero und ich bin begeistert. Tolle Qualität und sehr bequem. Die Einlegesohle ist super bequem (kann man natürlich rausnehmen wenn man möchte). Ich habe auch das Gefühl die Schuhe sind sehr flexibel, also egal ob auf Straße, im Wald, beim Sport sie sind top 👍 auf jeden Fall auch bestens für Barfußschuhe Anfänger geeignet.

The shoes look great, though when putting on it feels "empty". There is no support at all, not even a slight roomy but huggy feeling. It feels like I am putting my feet into an unfinished shoe where they forgot to put the inside in. I have other barefoot shoes, but they still give me the feeling of stability, not a floppy shoe.

Love, love, love these trainers. I initially purchased a pair for gym use but they were so comfortable and durable I got a second pair for hiking. For 'barefoot' shoes they are great quality for the price and surprisingly tough. I've worn them on different terrains (rocks, paved roads, gravel, sand) and they haven't failed me yet (I checked for splits and cracks after a 20km hike but there were none). I have tried several other brands of barefoot shoes but these are by far the best for price, comfort and endurance. These particular ones are not waterproof and won't be suitable for use in the winter. I'll definitely be purchasing more from Xero.
