16g/6-7-8mm/surgical steel: septum piercing
I have been chomping at the bit waiting for my septum piercing to heal so I could change my jewelry from that obnoxious-looking horseshoe barbell to a small, dainty ring! I wasn't sure what size to get (don't know if my piercing is considered high, low, or normal?), so based on other reviews I ordered both the 8mm and the 6mm. Got the 8mm today; it was a bit tricky to get in ("That's what she said") and click it closed, but I finally managed and it looks so much better than those big-ass balls hanging below my nose. There IS a gap for me, as evidenced in the photo. I don't think it looks TOO big or bullish; however, I am curious to see how the 6mm fits when I get it next week because I want something a bit more snug. Will try to update my review at that time, as well as note durability, ease of cleaning, any discoloration, smell, etc. (Yes, smell! Sounds gross, but I have noticed that some so-called surgical steel [sub-par] jewelry tends to collect anaerobic bacteria moreso than others, resulting in that unappealing odor that occasionally emits from piercings even when cleaned properly and regularly.) UPDATE DEC. 9: I received the 6mm (16g surgical steel) ring today. Surprisingly, it's too snug for my liking. The ring definitely pinches my nose and doesn't spin freely at all. I wore it for about a day and noticed upon removal that one side of my nostril was chafed. Fortunately this seller offers a 7mm size, so I've ordered one of those. Hopefully 7mm will be the perfect fit! UPDATE DEC. 22: The 7mm ring is much better. Actually, a 6.5mm would be "perfect," but we take what we can get ... plus, this seller seems to be the only one here on Amazon who offers the odd 7mm size, so I appreciate that. Spins easily in my septum yet looks snug. Super happy with all the rings (despite my own trial-and-error sizing issues - not the seller's problem) and with the customer service. In fact, I just placed another order for more septum jewelry. :) UPDATE FEB. 1: Just wanted to report that the jewelry seems to be good quality; no excessive offensive odors or tarnishing/discoloration. I've mainly been wearing the 7mm ring, but out of morbid curiosity I decided to try the 6mm again (I believe I have what is considered a low septum piercing) It looks awesome, super-snug and almost incognito, but alas ... definitely too small. Had it in less than a day and my piercing started to hurt because the ring was being pulled downward on it. No bueno! I really wish a 6.5mm size was available, which I realize is completely non-standard so it will probably never happen. I'm going to check out Etsy since there are many sellers that offer built-to-order, custom-sized body jewelry. All in all, still very happy with the septum rings I've bought here. Great quality for the price. Cheers!!

Lasts 7+ Years
I recently went through my orders to see which size nose ring I last ordered because the nose ring I've worn has been in my nose, but I was shocked to see I purchased it in 2018. Honestly it's the best nose ring I've ever had. Fits perfectly, never falls out, and I never take it out. It's really not even tarnished at all. Knowing I've had this in for 7 years is wild.

Love them, great snug ring!
*** UPDATE: I got these in 2018. It's 2024, and I have worn them every single day since then without ever changing them out. They haven't fallen open once, they aren't tarnished. These are your set it and forget it hoops, friend!!! These are perfect little dainty hoops for your ears! I got the 6mm 18 g hoops in rose gold for my 2 helix piercings. That size works perfectly for cartalidge snugs on me, though I probably could have gotten away with a 5mm hoop for the bottom one, I was just hesitant to go smaller. The hinges are sturdy, easy to use (took like 1 minute to change them out), and click firmly into place, so I know they aren't going anywhere. The material is sturdy as well, and high quality steel, which makes these good long term hoops. When looking at almost the exact style of ring at a few piercing shops, I was looking at least about $15-$20 per ring, so they're priced well too! Will definitely be buying more, I love them!

A bit tricky to insert but very secure once it's in.
I bought this in the 20g 8mm size for my nose piercing. I put it in on Monday and it is now Friday and I've had no adverse reaction to the metal. I love the way to looks and that it's an actual full hoop that can be spun all the way around. It feels super secure. I've showered twice so far with no problems of it coming unhinged. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. Some reviewers HAVE had adverse reactions meaning that they're exaggerating the quality of the metal. And it's not super easy to insert. The end you have to insert is flat vs a narrow rounded tip. And then once it's in (at least for a nostril piercing) it's a bit difficult to close. But that's more just the nature of hinge rings rather than this specific one. Once I got it in I loved it. Also fyi I did have a bit of sensitivity for a day after inserting but I was switching from a stud to this hoop so that's probably why. I now feel no pain and have no bump so if you do you might be reacting to the metal.

love these rings!! (6g x 8mm)
i’ve had the silver ring for months and have no complaints about it, it’s perfect if you’re looking for large gauge small diameter rings. easy to close but a little hard to open, i was expecting that as the diameter is so small (nothing i can’t easily do with some needle nose pliers). good quality and no tarnishing!! i purchased gold and black for more options. the gold is lovely, however i am returning the black as it makes me look like i have the mustache of a certain evil 1940s german dictator since it creates a shadow…definitely go with a larger diameter for black septum rings in general to avoid that. otherwise these rings are perfect and i recommend them!

Fantastic!
I've had a central labret and septum ring for almost 20 years now. I've gauged them up to 10g- and it is REALLY TOUGH finding 3/8 rings that will snugly fit around my lip with no gaps in a 10g size. Til now I've used segmented rings- and just put them in and left them, but I recently started a job that doesn't allow facial jewelry, so I've been taking the segments out every day- which is tough, because a 3/8 inch ring fits snugly around my lip- but the 10g size means they require ring spreaders to get them in and out.. soooo annoying at 5 am when I'm groggy from just waking up and have to struggle with getting my rings out. I've recently snapped a couple of them and decided "that's it- I have to find a better solution before I give myself lacerations from rings breaking in my face". I switched to a captive bead for a few days, but ugh.. for a tightly fitting lip ring- you want no gaps- not just for looks, but for comfort- because a ring slipping around on your lip is a little annoying- and even more so? Drinking anything? liquid leaks through, and I hate always feeling like the center of my lip is damp- and with a captive? It's ALWAYS DAMP. Also? Sizing them up to 10g? It's hard to find small rings in that gauge anyway.. like anywhere.. I'm glad to have found these. These clickers solved everything. I bought one for my septum and a matching one for my lip and they snap right in with no problem. I won't need ring spreaders since they're hinged. They're easy to get in. Easy to get out. Comfortable with no more gap than a segmented ring. Fit my lip perfectly, and yeah- next payday I'll be back to buy two more in steel so I can change them out with my moods.

A bit loose
Got these 316L surgical steel hoops (7mm, 8mm, 9mm) for my nose and cartilage piercings. They’re smooth, easy to open/close by hand, and stay secure once clasped—no rough edges, which is great for sensitive skin. The three sizes are perfect for mixing and matching across different piercings, and they’re comfy enough to sleep in or keep on while showering. Only downside is they might feel a bit loose if you prefer a super snug fit—smaller sizes (5/6mm) might work better for that. Solid product overall, but not perfect for everyone. 3/5 stars.

Sleek and comfortable
I love that these come in three sizes so you can customize. The measurements are the internal diameter. The 7mm is the snug fit I was looking for in a nose ring. 7mm is also a nice size for my tragus although I think a 6mm would be a more perfect fit. The 8mm is the ideal size for my helix piercings and lip. The 9mm is a littler bigger than I was looking for although it makes a nice lip ring as well. These are easy to open and snap shut creating a smooth ring that doesn’t snag or need adjusting. I did need to carefully ensure the ends lined up before applying pressure to close the snap but overall it was easy. I love these so much! No irritation from the material or design whatsoever. I hardly feel like I’m wearing jewelry at all it’s so light. Definitely exactly what I was looking for! They’re shiny and beautiful and I’m planning on buying again soon so I can have sets of each size!
