Amazon Brand - Solimo Silver Energy Drink, Sugar Free, 16 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 24)

This 'silver drink' has a light peach taste similar to Monster Ultra Fiesta (the 'Teal' can of Monster), but not quite as strong of a taste in comparison (which I think is a good thing). It's definitely a bit sweet, but not at all overpowering. As someone who has tried nearly all the flavors under the Monster brand, I can identify similar tastes right away and was pleasantly surprised, since I do actually think that the Ultra Fiesta flavor is a bit too strong, being much more like a carbonated peach/mango juice. As an energy drink, this 'silver drink' definitely gets the job done, having almost the same amount of caffeine as the monster ultra brand (152mg per 16oz can, versus 155mg per can), as well as similar levels of nutrients, including Vitamin B3, B6, B12, and other ingredients you'd expect to find in an energy drink. The price is also great, currently being about $5 cheaper for a 24-pack compared to Monster, so I might actually start buying this brand more often considering I go through a lot of these every month.

I tried the Silver flavor as I'm a fan of the White and Blue Monster Ultra energy drinks. First, to start with the energy boost, it is extremely comparable to Monster Ultra. If you're looking for a different flavor of the same type of energy drink, this is a perfect replacement. For the flavor, it has a comparable taste to the Monster Ultra energy drinks, except a little less sweet. The silver flavor I can best describe as a a melted orange popsicle sweetened with artificial sweeteners. It has a less natural taste than the Monster Ultra drinks and has a lingering aftertaste that is... not great. The artificial sweeteners really pull through at the end which is why I couldn't rate it five stars. It is certainly sweet, but not as sickly sweet as the Ulta flavors. If you like the Monster Ultra flavors, you'll definitely like these, especially if you think that the Ultra flavors are a little on the sweet side. Overall these are a great, cheaper alternative to the Monster Ultra drinks. If you're looking for another low carb and low cal energy drink and don't mind a little artificial aftertaste then these are a perfect match for you.

This is a really good attempt from Amazon on an energy drink. It is very close to the taste of a Monster Ultra White, but with a few small differences. 1. The carbonation is much less 2. There is a hint of pineapple after you take a drink 3. The caffeine is a little bit strong to me. (yes I know this sounds strange, try it and you will understand) 4. It doesn't taste like it gets as cold. Trying a Monster Ultra vs this, it's strange. It just doesn't taste as cold as the Monster. Not a deal breaker, just something I noticed. So far I would say that is definitely worth the price and the taste is good. I will absolutely buy from now on instead. For about 2/3 the cost of a the competitors, I think it's worth it for my money.

This does not taste like monster ultra (white can) in spite of several reviews that say otherwise. It's got it's own unique flavor. Unfortunately, it's something reminiscent of cheap Halloween candy and I'm not really a fan. It's lacking a tart quality that would improve the flavor immensely. The caffeine content is 150mg. Not really sufficient if you drink these as often as I do. In spite of all that, it does represent a decent value if you happen to enjoy the taste.

okay so first of all but least important is the can looks like you just walked out of the dollar store and got a drink on clearance. that doesn't matter though. the silver flavor taste pretty good, great on ice or chilled, and it gives really good energy. i do NOT suggest the red flavor at all. the red one tastes like cheap fruit punch and didn't give me any energy. anyway, the price is fair but it isn't much of a steal compared to other energy drinks but definitely a better deal and i recommend the silver can and will be buying again

Isn't a redbull and dont claim to be. Compares to sugar free monster and I have tried sugar free monster and Amazon has made a better tasting product hands down. It is sweet for being sugar free but by being sweet it also lacks that nasty chemical taste you get with most energy drinks. It has a nice crisp flavor chilled with a pleasant after taste. It does give you a nice boost. I didnt notice a crash but I hardly do even with sugar drinks. It is a bit rough on empty stomach though. A must try 5 out of 5 in my opinion

I normally buy Monster brand drinks but none were on sale so I thought I'd try out Solimo Silver to save a few bucks. The product is fine, not quite what I was expecting but not bad. I saw another review that described it as tasting kind of like the syrupy liquid in a fruit cup and I agree. Also has a very slight artificial sweetener aftertaste which I thought was strange since it uses sucralose (which I don't usually notice). My main complaint and the reason why I probably won't buy these again is the packaging. There are 24 cans in a flat wrapped in plastic. So far so good, this is what you would expect. Unfortunately, Amazon then put that in a larger box with minimal protection and lots of room to move around. That's not good for heavy, aluminum cans. By the time it arrived on my porch, one can had completely emptied itself on all the others and the box. Many more were damaged and misshapen, but still drinkable. I spent the first 15 minutes after opening the box cleaning up the mess. If this is how Solimo brand drinks are going to be shipped, it just feels like to much of a gamble. How many cans will arrive undamaged? How big of a mess will I have to clean up? It just isn't worth it to save a few dollars. The cases of Monster brand come in thick, cardboard boxes that fit tightly and don't allow movement during shipping. I have never had any damage on those.

After reading reviews, I really was expecting this to taste more like the white Monster Ultra. While it does, it doesn't? It has a VERY strong pineapple taste on top of it. First sip after expecting what I was, I was surprised by it. After I finished the first can, I can definitely say it grew on me. Not only is the price a lot better, but I'm definitely starting to prefer the taste of this over the white Ultra, which had grown to be my favorite, followed by the orange Ultra. Do believe I found my new go to and would definitely recommend!
