This is a great and informative book on how to do all aspects of relief carving. From carving the subject to wood burning where necessary. Very impressed with this book from start to finish.

Enjoyed reading this book. Illustrated pictures are great. It provided me a lot of new carving ideas. This is my first book on wood carving.

This book has some attractive plans but not very much how-to info. I dont like that the plans are not to scale because its much easier to copy and piece togeter full size plans from several pages than it is to scale it up on my printer. I still like it, howwever.

Great book for someone like me new to carving, and in particular, relief carving. Good instruction & photo's are super. Have a couple of woodworking projects that I want to add some relief carving to & this book has given me numerous ideas.

Excellent step by step instructions on 3D relief carving. Illustrations are beautiful and detailed. A lot of interesting patterns that look to be easy for every level of carver ability.

This book gives the novice carver an inkling of the basics to this skill along with good instructional information before beginning to attempt your first carving project. It is well written and the drawings are apropos to the descriptions and instruction that are given. This book can be used time and time again whenever one needs to reference any point of a carving project! sms

juste wow! Bonne explication avec image et techniques. Livre en bon état pour un usagé et bon prix, arrivé dans le délai. ****Livre anglais seulement pour ceux débute et qui ne comprennent pas l'anglais attention, la technique est importante. Moi..... je l'adore.

Aún siendo un libro de tapa blanda se trata de un producto perfecto para regalar. Da muchas ideas para trabajar la madera, todo genial explicado.

Bonjour, un ouvrage intéressant, pas besoin de savoir lire l'anglais pour ce livre les images suffisent pour comprendre le travail à réalisé, toute fois vous pouvez toujours traduire des petites instructions sur google traduction si cela peut vous aidez pour certaines images.Vous trouverez du pas à pas donc très bien fait en images, représentant un canard avec bien sur le motif pour réalisation, de même pour une tête de cerf, ainsi que 2 motifs celtes (classique gothique) il est possible dans faire des dessous de plats. Il y a aussi des formes d'assiette ou ovale pour accrocher au mur, motif bonhomme de neige très sympas, le motif de la couverture, une joli vu d'une maison enneiger avec un phare et un cote visible sur la mer, fleurs de noël très joli aussi et d'autres motifs varier dans je vous laisse le plaisir de découvrir si vous achetez l'ouvrage. Personnellement j'ai beaucoup de livre américain et celui-ci vient compléter ma collection sont aucun regret. Achat que je vous conseille si vous aimez travailler aux couteaux et aux gouges alors n'hésiter pas. Amicalement Sandrine
