Although slightly difficult to use the first time, once you get it, wow! We live in "corn country" in northern California so we have some of the sweetest corn anywhere, but my husband and daughter prefer theirs cut off the cob. This gets the whole kernal and you can eat it right out of the bowl if you want. We learned the second time to let it cool about a minute so it's easier to handle. I also tried folding a paper towel to help hold it.Overall a great product. My only suggestion would be a better grip both inside and outside of the holder.

I really like this tool! It is very easy to use and clean and really gets the job done. To remove the tiny bits of corn that remain, I simply run the cob over the serrated blade and they come right off.

I absolutely love this product. I am so glad I bought it. It is very easy to use and strips the corn off of the cob in no time.The only issue is that the little piece that is used to hold the cob after you flip it over to do the other end doesn’t hold it very well.I folded up a paper towel to give me a better grip and it worked like a charm.

Some people may like this but I did not. It was made of plastic and was difficult to use and time-consuming. The photograph makes it look like it is very ergonomic but it is really not a good item to purchase. I used to other ones that I reviewed here that I would recommend above this one please check those out. I would not recommend this

Makes stripping the kernals super easy. Sometimes it takes 2 passes to get all the kernals which sometimes makes little corn bits and it can get messy, which is why only 4 stars, but it's probably the nature of the beast. Highly recommend.

Works really well - quick-n-easy however, it leaves a little too much kernel on the cob. I know this is dependent on the diameter of the corn but so far all the corn I've used have been too narrow. Like I said, though, it's very fast & very easy.

Used it 3 times so far so good my only complaint is that the corn has to be on the thinner size or it wont go through the whole way but you can make it work.

Works perfect.. the container did crack the 2nd time we used it so we now strip the corn on a plate. We still use the container for grating hard cheese, garlic and lime zest, etc.

I was skeptical, but it works well. Not sure how it'll do on the massive cobs during the peak season, but it's easy to work with and much faster than me using a knife. Also, there's less waste. Quite happy!

This was actually such a great product! I had doubts but it shucks the kernels perfectly and catches the corn.
