Awesome little system
I've been craving some nostalgia that Skyrim just wasn't cutting. I went ahead and made thus purchase to be able to play some of my old NES carts. It's very cheap feeling, but plays well and I haven't had any issues with it. I've got my kids playing Megaman and teaching them patience and persistence pays off 😂 my old NES system no longer functions without serious troubleshooting so this makes playing games enjoyable. I did purchase an AV2HD converter to make it easier also.

Killer. Affordable. NES "clone"
I have purchased this brand in the past, and remain a loyal and satisfied customer to their product. A/V output (cables imcluded) micro USB AC power supply (included) NES ports x 2 (includes 2 "Classiq N" gamepads) plays actual NES (NTSC) cartridges A fantastic way to experience one of the greatest video game libraries of all time, on a budget. PROS: AFFORDABLE. Plays NES and supports original controllers and zappers, as well as third party controllers and gamepads. Stylish design, compact, with light-up logo power indicator display. CONS: FRAGILE construction. Its cheap, because it is manufactured with cost effeciency in mind. As with most NES clones, there WILL be some 3rd party title cartridges that may not run properly. This, however, has only happened with one such cartridge for me personally. (Two seperate copies of Pipe Dream [Bulletproof Software] refuse to display properly, however ran fine when tested on an original NES 'toaster' model) The 72-pin bridge really GRIPS the cartridges, so caution must be used when inserting or removing games. Other Points: Not an HDMI model, though this company has other models with the option available. I do not require it as a NESesity, therefore this model is just perfect for my meager gaming setup. To my ears, the audio output is just fine. I have my audio channel ran out from TV to AUX into a secondary speaker, and the chiptunes and synth BGM tracks sounds great to me. Display is also just fine. I have plugged this system into both a CRTV as well as a flat model LCD monitor, and both play fine...although the CRT looks better, as designed. My suggestion? If youre like me and just want an affordable solution to playing some killer games, then this Classiq N NES clone is a no-brainer. Game On, brothers & sisters

Great quality to value
I put it through it's paces after I got it . I must say for $25 I am very impressed, picture quality looks fantastic on the CRT I hooked it up to. Controllers are really nice, one of my favorite part of this console. Played Donkey Kong, DK Jr., Zelda, Super Mario Bros. and they all ran and looked great. The laser Zapper gun does work with this system as long as you have it hooked up to a CRT TV. Works great with Dunk Hunt and Hogan's Ally There are a couple of drawbacks though, the sound quality is pretty muddled. You can definitely see this iswhere they cut corners to keep that price down. But the sound quality disappears as you get involved with the game but for $25 I can certainly live with it. It also suffers from the typical Clone death grip. Getting these cartridges out of the port is tough. But the more you use it begins to become easier. But all in all I'm extremely happy with this so far. I mean for $25 you can't go wrong.

Works fine, Cheap plastic
Works good. Its just made of cheap plastic. Had it for only 2 days and the door that covers the pin connectors has already broken off. Will not buy another. Will be investing in to a Retron 5 soon.

Worth the money for lots of fun
Don't waste your money on buying the "name brand" consoles when you can get this one for dirt cheap and it works just as well. I got this console and one of the 100+ games-on-one cartridges and me and my 7yr old played it like crazy. Controller cords are plenty long, but we had the console on a high shelf by our TV and my son got a little to excited and accidentally pulled one of the cords hard, knocking the console onto the floor. It was actually at least the 2nd time it fell on the floor (probably 4ft onto hardwood) and broke where the controllers connect to the console. I'm planning to buy another one and just mount it more carefully...wireless controllers would have avoided my problem but I did get the whole set up for about $40.

I already own an original NES, and a Retron 1 HD (HDMI), but this Classiq was on sale for a very good price, so I picked it up just to have another backup unit. It only has AV-composite cables, no HDMI like my Retron. The video is about as good as AV gets; I did notice that some colours look a bit muted, especially red. Sound quality is okay, though I did notice a bit of warble with some sounds. It comes with two Old Skool controllers. Although the controllers have only 6-foot cables, they work surprisingly well, about as good as an old original NES controller in good shape. One feature of the Classiq I really like is that the 'N' on the top of the unit lights up bright red when the power is on. Overall, if you want a basic NES clone that runs 99% of games, and your TV has AV inputs, this will get the job done.

Probably the best clone console out there. I mean, I haven't tried any others, but that's what people say.
